Few know just how exceptional of player he was. Yes, his compositions were historical and are part of our great American history. However, the man could *play* that instrument. A great example here of small combo work. Bravo.
Let's try that again-I have seen Randy Newman in concert several times and he has this same joy as well

He was (and remains) a national treasure. Like aged cheese or fine wine, Duke's music only gets better with age.
