  • Très beau talent.

  • The Pedal 32 sounds particularly outstanding in that is foundational yet it has eclat.

  • Bravo .....

  • Excellent! I would easily set this performance beside those of Daniel Roth or Ben van Oosten.

  • Awesome! I love this song. Salt Lake City is full of great organs.

  • That's a very good sounding organ! Nice performance too btw

  • Finally, someone who knows how to create a full registration without making the mixtures scream at us. Very nicely done

  • I love your registrations for this piece. The pedal division has a lot of bite to it. Great performance!

  • widors 6th symphony is def. the best he ever wrote. this is the best piece he ever wrote to me. its my favorite organ piece. it never gets old. great performance to! im 15 and im trying to attempt to learn this. its a very very hard piece but such greatness and power behind it like at 6:51.

  • I logged in just to give this a thumbs up... wow. Listened to a lot of recordings of this piece... This one is right at the top with the Latry and the rest.

  • Brilliant piece of music on a brilliant organ built by the best organbuilder going (well, almost)! Great performance! "pipeup1" seems to sum it well!

  • A fine Irish built organ well played!!

  • I enjoyed it even more in person!

  • Very nice organ and palying, as many of it's characterictics remind me of the Skinner at St-Thomas Fifth ave. NYC.

  • I've heard many organs in the US, but this one seems to have a French (sound, which comes close to some of the Cavaille-coll organs. As one of the tenured organists of the Notre Dame in Paris, I must say that you're performance is great ! You have a great feeling for music and I hope to hear a lot more from you !

  • I keep coming back to your performance of this magnificent piece, surely one of the noblest in the organ repertoire. It combines youthful exuberance with a remarkably mature msical insight. A fine organ, too - but I would love to hear you repeat this on a real Cavaillé-Coll - St Sulpice or St Ouen, for example.

  • Bravo !!!! Excellent.... Pour l'avoir déja jouée et en connaitre la difficulté !! D'autres vidéos de vous sont disponibles ??? Merci et encore une fois Bravo !!!

  • Really great rendition....sounds like a pretty big instrument...LOVE IT!

  • da hat wohl nich ein trottel den ich mag button verfehlt tzz tzz tzz

  • Very well done, and a good sounding organ too! Thank you for posting this.

  • Good god that organ sounds huge

  • Very very nice. I'm learning this right now. Any pointers you might have would be great!

  • Well done!!

  • This is a very able rendition. Keep up the good work. I have a recording of Marcel Dupre playing this piece. Some day I will have a recording of you alongside that one.

  • Beautiful well rounded strong pedal reeds. And well done, this is not easy, especially in the middle section with triplets in the left hand against the staccato quavers in the pedal.

  • Very nice rendition! Keep up the good work.

  • WOW!!! I think you just voiced exactly what Widor intended with that one! Awesome!

  • WOW! I think you voiced exactly what Widor intended for that one! Awesome!

  • Wow :)

  • Excellent, very well played. Brilliant sound through my powerful sound system. I am impressed.

  • Very well done. One of the better renditions that I've heard on YouTube.

Clearly, you are playing this. There are some real loonies on the net.

Keep up the good work. One day, I will be buying your CD's.

  • Having heard you in person, I can attest to your mastery of the organ. The pedal work you're doing is fantastic. Keep it up!

  • Awesome playing....exciting and controlled playing is always nice to hear. I can't imagine why the people below would choose to point out two "barely there" mistakes. Musicianship is much more than "note perfect" playing.

  • That was awesome. I would go cross country to hear you play. Those mistakes were minor and easily corrected. Where do you go to music school?

  • very nice :)

  • So what, mistakes...

  • I thought it was quite lovely. You did a fantastic job.

  • good job! piston panic happens-as do breezes and uncooperative music. it's not like you were playing out of the hymnal-this is a hard piece! your registrations, dynamics, tempos, etc were really good! the sound has to move the listener and youve done that-and not been flambouyant on the bench, potentially taking away from the listening experience-although i enjoyed watching you play. keep up the excellent work! there are some other things i'd like to hear you do-durufle toccata perhaps?

  • Too bad for that big mistake at 6:43...

Beside that it is said to be played well.

  • there's one at 2:40 too, but for the rest, excellent!

  • Brilliant performance of a brilliant piece of music.

  • GREAT!

  • Awesome

  • Almost looks like a harrison And Harrison Organ Console. But i no its not

  • The Organ playing was ok but I notice the registration changes were at times a hazard. As in for instance when u come to the middle section where it goes into F sharp Minor and actually this is the hardest part of this Symphony to learn. The Kenneth jones organ sounds a lot better then when it was first put in. As this Cathedral has to cope with a very warm climate the tuning can be detrimental to any Organ. There can be differences of pitch in each divison .

  • Oh baby, you are awesome. Too bad I can't see your crazy footwork in these videos.

  • Congratulations on very fine and style appropriate playing of this work despite an American instrument!. Widor is happy.

    Who built to organ?

  • I have this exact recording in I tunes!

    How is that possible?

    Is your name Clayton Roberts?

    Lol if it is!!!

  • You mean that the man playing in the video doesn't actually play?

  • Comment removed

  • Well i'm 100 % sure that this is Clayton Roberts playing (or what's his name...)

This is Clayton you see in the video and it's clayton you hear.

  • Then its all right!

    I love co-incidences! xD

    Great performance BTW

  • Dear lamborgotti,

That is actually me playing, mistakes and all. I have the video tape and CD recordings to prove it. Thanks for your skepticism though :)

  • Alright, I was only skeptical because it doesn't sound anything like your other pieces (no background noise, etc.) and wouldn't have expected to see someone's music on both YouTube and iTunes.

  • Bravo! Splendid performance and good control over the instrument. Also the quality of the recording is very good. Keep this way!

  • Your playing is fenomenal. Seems that you really understand the period, and you are actually playing the room not only the organ! Bravo, my congrats to you! Keep up the good work!

  • This is ridonculous! I think you superimposed yourself into the video because you're too young to be that good. Bravo!

  • BEAUTIFUL JOB! It also helps that you are cute!

The organ is incredible.....I am an organist in the Central New York Area. Everyone always yells at me for not going into music. I am actually an English teacher, but I have a wonderful passion for the organ. Where do you study? I always like to chat with young, fellow organists. I am 28 myself-I guess there is always time to continue my studies.

  • Absolutely beautiful. You are amazing!
