what could be its problem? pls help...

    tnx

  • where can i download the full driver of this pc ?

  • the video is true. thnx for the comment.

  • That can't be right. I have XP on my 900 and I did a full clean install and it booted longer than that. By the way, I am using my own version of XP lite.

  • is your eee contain a flash drive or a harddrive?

  • how much dose xp, service packs and drivers take up on the hdd?

  • It was a clean install, installing service packs and drivers....it explanes everything quite clearly at the info given in the video. After one year though, i must admit it became slower...

  • Pretty fast. Mines come pretty close, but not close enough:

    XP PRO SP3 (OEM)

CPU - AMD Turion 64 (dual core) @ 2.19 gigahertz

    RAM - 2GB

    BOOT time = 32 sec.

    Shutdown time= 7.5 sec.

Which XP version are you using? I had Retails prior to OEM, which I found what was a little faster. I'm assuming you stripped down XP (barebones)? Did you disable any startup entries/services? Any overclocking?

  • Also, this is with all drivers installed, and 6 different programs (not including anti-virus, spyware/melware) running in the background during startup. RAM uses 312 MB upon startup, what about yours?

  • what's the difference between xp pro sp2 and xp pro sp3 ? please reply

  • No difference. SP2/3 (Service Pack 2/3) contains essential datas such as software updates, hotfixes, security updates for windows. It's not an operating system. It's just an add-on. It's supposed to add on performance, capability, and so on.

  • yeah but i meant when you buy the original windows .. windows xp pro sp2 vs windows xp rpo sp3 i meant in preformence etc

  • wtfmis this, i dont undertsand shit what he says???

  • Yes on the fast 4GB

  • did you install XP on the fast 4GB drive? ??

  • Skype works fine with the integrated Cam, no problems so far!

  • how about its performance running skype (using built in camera) ????

does it run smooth or are there any issues (celeron 900MHz instead of atom 1,6GHz) ????

  • A little faster with sp3? It seemed that way.
