  • was the beginning the opening chords to welcome t the machine by pink floyd?

  • nice bluesy tones : ) got one for myself aswell,its superb ! ! !

  • is this good for guns n roses??

  • Yes it is. V. good for that classic rock sound.

  • you just got to change the tubes

  • Nice demo! How do you like your LOPO? I just bought the Handsome Devil and I'm lookin for a cab and thinkin about a 2x12(V30) Lopo for it. But this is the first time I've heard a lopo. They seem like there a good fit.

  • can you connect multieffects pedal (pod x3 live) to this amp?

  • is this loud enough to plaay over a drummer?

  • Tried it today in the morning and in the evening I bought it. Right now I can´t stop playin. Unfortunately I can´t crank it to get the overdrive in my flat but in our weekend house no prob... Amazing clean, coming into small drive finally to significant overdrive, exactly what I expected, fine. But my EHX Metal Muff sounds ten times better than on my solid state Fender. And one more thing, don´t buy the combo, you need a better speaker. I got the blackstar with 60 percent discount. Amazing!!

  • COOL!!!!!!! Glad you are enjoying it- way better than solid state any day.

  • Thanks!

  • I am really considering getting one of those. I have a seymour duncan mayhem twin tube mayhem distortion pedal though and it has a tube pre amp in it. i guess this amp does not have any effects loop right? would i be able to use the pre amp you think?

  • I'm not familiar with that pedal, but any pedals I've plugged into the Blackheart sound great. Should work fine.

  • just one q?

    CAN IT PERFORM LIVE?

  • Sure, IF the band isn't super loud and the room has decent acoustics. I'd mic it though, especially if you want any clean tones.

  • I'm trying to find something that can match my carvin mts3200, but is much smaller for recording purposes...I basically need an amp I can really overdrive/get feedback and noise from without the neighbors flipping out. Do you think this thing is capable?

  • Yes, it gets raunchy quick and it takes pedals well. I haven't used it to record much (just a few sample clips), but it seems to record well.

  • Very nice. Thanks for taking time to make the demo. I've been looking very closely at these lately. So far, from what I have seen and heard, they seem pretty hard to beat for the money.

  • Thanks- I bet the prices will be going up soon. BTW- I tried this with the matching cabinet and I like the open-back- vintage 30 sound better.

  • Do these sound good at lower volumes?

  • yeah they sound good at lower volumes. This is fairly raunchy due to the Vintage 30 speaker and me playing hard.
