Having the comments filtered is a really a bad idea I think, if you fear bad comments then just disable comments, that would be correct, but having comments filtered by yourself just mean you are either paranoiac or that you have no confidence in your fans to mark unfair comments as spams.

I think additional caution is needed when dealing with minors. That is just the way the world is or should be. So the third possibility is that Sarah is acting as a caring parent and you are either paranoiac or do not feel that children might need some sheltering on the internet.

You all don't have to attack each other. Erio, if you look at past videos, you'll see that Sarah has no problem with negative comments directed at her or her show. However, she is taking extra precautions when her guests are children.

(part 2!) You might notice that plenty of YT videos that feature children have loads of horrific comments from "child lovers" or just trolls who want to say inappropriate things at/to the kids in the videos, and by screening comments, Sarah can ensure that her underaged guests are protected from stuff like that.
