If you're criticizing her for using the word shiny as opposed to shining, then you might try spelling bastardized with an A. If you're criticizing her for not using a "u" in the word "armor," you need to respect the fact that British English and American English are recognized as different languages. I am bemused by the inferrence that English was imported to England by the Germans. It is a development of Anglo-Saxon, with a peppering of Viking/French words, which have had an impact on the development of our language. The point I was making is, there is no excuse for sloppiness of any sort at all. Knight in shining armour, has a British cultural reference point too. Incidently, Morrissey is a Mancunian, as I am. I can translate that into Amercan English should you wish. Hope this helps.
