Ito lost the title to Abby Jr. last night. About time, haha. The match was pretty good too, just kind of sad when you consider that their first match against eachother was an absolute war, and a lot of this one just felt like two aging deathmatch veterans just going through the motions. It did really pick up in the second half though, and Abby takes an absurd amount of punishment, even for him.
For what it's worth, I was at the CZW Indie Summit and Cage of Death shows the other weekend, and MASADA was wearing the FREEDOMS logo on his shorts. I didn't see the BJW one. It's a shame that they treated him like shit, since he was probably the most over gaijin in that company ever.
@dele3344 BJW seems to be even more plagued with backstage politics than most other japanese companies. I don't know the full story so for all I know it was his fault, but I've heard many times over the years that the reason Jun Kasai (arguably the one wrestler that most people think of when they think of "Big Japan") never had the BJW championship is because he burnt a bridge years and years ago and they're still mad at him for it.
@sxd Masada talked about that in the shoot. Kasai was beat to hell and BJW wouldn't pay his health care costs. When Zero 1 offered Kasai a better deal, he jumped at it.
@DeathMetalRob Yea I did & yea I agree but the only one I really hate from CZW is Zandig cause he made all the BJW guys' take all the bumps when they first went to BJW & Honma left cause he nearly died everytime he was in death matches, & Mad Man Pondo said in a shoot that Zandig is wanted for dead with the yakuza
@OneDeadProductions pondo might have been joking (maybe) but zandig isn't here anymore and now bjw and czw have a good working relationship. there was even a limited edition czw/bjw blood brothers t shirt.

@sxd I saw that too. Probably just a way to say "Fuck you" to Ito and Tosaka. It's the least he can do.
What's really sad is that BJW is missing out on an amazing angle. If Ito wanted to drop the belt to Masada, Tokyo would love it.
