  • that's some bubble bubble toil and trouble shit right there

  • I was waiting for her to jump in, I'm left disappointed.

  • If I ever see this bitch on my diving board I'm going to hide under my bed and cry.

  • awww man acid and swimming pools never work well together

  • *dreaming*

  • 3:00 ... that guys face captures it all

  • All i know is this song is orgasmic. What the hell. the whole album is.

  • This band is a joke

  • @xMeowMixo It's not a band it's a solo project. And how is it a joke?

  • @xMeowMixo but....a very good Joke...jojojo.-

  • It's like she has been raving all night of her tits..... Came home like that and started dancing with the universe!!

    WOW!!!!

  • love how she vocalizes "grow up", and how she begins to dance at 1:26 :>

  • I like how she's reluctant to show her face. Makes her all the more mysterious.

  • Waiting for the moment were she is suppose to fall in the pool...

  • 3:00 FML

  • :: Dude WHERE can i but that outfit?

  • this is the only way i enjoy getting into the pool

  • @nostalgicBurst lmaooo!!!! good one

  • ke$ha's long lost twin!

  • ok i'm freaked the fuck out. and love it.

  • I wish water bending was real D:

  • Ke$ha take note, this is how to wear trash and successfully make it look like art.

  • i love her voice. i think it's very unique, and the song has real meaningful lyrics. and that's how music should be. simply great.

  • I love how she dances :) Such a lovely song

  • Same female singer as Royksopp?

  • @TeeJayslot Royksopp are a mail duo, They however have a cracking choice in guest female vocals, like Karin Dreijer Andersson, who is Fever Ray :D

  • @TeeJayslot Röyksopp doesn't have a female singer, but Björk has been cooperating with them and same with Robyn. But Röyksopp is two guys.

  • @TeeJayslot She's in the song "What Else Is There?" but thats it, as far as I know.

  • @MrRussiaz On their 2009 album "Junior", she sings the vocals on two songs: "This Must Be It" and "Tricky Tricky". It is a good album, check it out. Also features Robyn and Lykke Li. All three of those singers are Swedish by the way.

  • @pbunyun88 excuse me where you talking about the royksopp comment im preety sureshe sings in more than just those two songs ive herd her sing in this must be it what else is there and a couple of other songs

  • @familydude51 Hi, "MrRussiaz" made a comment saying that "What Else Is There" was the only song Karin Dreijer sang for Royksopp (to his knowledge), and I was simply adding on to that by including the two songs she sings on the "Junior" album. I own the first 3 Royksopp albums, and those are the only 3 songs she sings lead vocals on for those albums. I haven't heard the entire "Senior" album, and I haven't listened to any EP's or singles, so let me know if she sings on any of those. :)

  • If art had a sound, this would be it.

  • anyone else get really really pissed off when they hear "dubstep version is much better hurhurhur"

  • I agree....I think this is beautiful and amazing and I absolutely love her voice and expression, very mesmerizing! Being vocal teacher my self I can tell you that it is not easy to sing this way, it requires a lot of good technique and to simply judge it with no awareness is ignorant thing to do!

  • Woa!!! Amazing! :O

  • Very good video but i thought she was going to jump in lol

  • This was the first song I heard by her and I fell in love instantly.

  • She obviously does this for her own satisfaction. I appreciate that. The best music comes from those who don't care what the masses think.

  • @cadenbug1 Trueism.

  • @cadenbug1 u like lady gaga?

  • why do you come to a youtube video to fight with the other people watching it and not to quietly and respectfully enjoy a piece of art that is being presented to you free of charge by an underrated artist?

  • @honkyzilla amen baby girl

  • @honkyzilla these are not the droids ur looking for

  • @honkyzilla Don't let VEVO get any ideas. Once they find out people are willing to pay for music they lock this down

  • This video is kind of creepy...But at the same time it is amazing. I really like this :)

  • oh but i like!

  • die ist ja hässlich :D

  • In the 70s Bowie tried summoning something up from the water of his pool, the water got smoky and something bubbled up. He got freaked out and stopped his occult practices soon after. This according to the book When Giants Walked The Earth about Led Zeppelin. This video reminded me of this story.

  • i am in love with karin's voice, i hear it in my head all day long. she is the best:)

  • beautiful song!

  • YES! I found it!! The backing music is very similar to Leftfield's Melt.

  • I love this so much! Both the video and the song! (*O*) <3 <3 <3

  • so much i love about this... so much

  • @1badass04z

I don't think she sounds anything like Bjork! They are simply both from Scandinavian countries and so sing with a similar accent. That's like saying Elvis Presley sounds like Axel Rose, simply because they are both American.

  • theres alot of similarities between her and bjork...but its not a bad thing...they both are unique if thats what your trying to prove...but i think that bjork n fever ray would have the same taste in music

  • @Shinnyuu2

Bjork listens to The Knife. There's an interview somewhere on youtube about her current musical listenings.

  • Karin also lists Bjork as an influence on her MySpace. It's kinda cute that they both like eachother. :3

  • @settheraytojimmy

I agree with you. Simply the truth. They really don't sound the same.

  • @settheraytojimmy

Scandinavia and America are vastly different in size.

  • @VioletScorpion @VioletScorpion I'm using Scandinavia in the broadest historical and cultural sense, which would include the countries Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and even Iceland. I'm referring of course to the Nordic countries, which share a lot of common ancestry in Old Norse.

  • @VioletScorpion These countries have a history that spans over 1000 years, whereas the United States albeit larger and still a very colourful and culturally diverse country has a documented history starting in the late 15th century. Of course there were inhabitants prior to the Columbian voyages, but...well, we all know what happened there!

  • @VioletScorpion My point is simply that Karin and Bjork are from entirely different countries, with the North Atlantic Ocean separating the two pieces of land, and the fact that they sound alike to us is most likely down to the fact that we as English speakers are unfamiliar with the differences. The Icelandic language itself has remained far truer to Old Norse than that of the Swedish language, with the heavy use of verb and noun inflection.

  • @VioletScorpion So yeah, to sum up...Bjork and Karin sound similar, but only to us people unfamiliar with their different accents.

  • @settheraytojimmy so they aren't the same person?

  • @settheraytojimmy bjork isfrom iceland no tscandinavian

  • @LOveERDos Yes, you're right I understand this. But I did say "I'm using Scandinavia in the broadest historical and cultural sense, which would include the countries Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and even Iceland. I'm referring of course to the Nordic countries, which share a lot of common ancestry in Old Norse." Check out my continued thread on the subject! I did go on quite a bit mind, I must warn you! :P Both artists are great though in my opinion! :)

  • @settheraytojimmy finland is not part of scandinavia, ei mulla muuta.

  • @sikapena Yes, this is true in the literal sense. I was using Scandinavia to refer to the ancestry of the language and culture, rather than one geographically homogenized area. I do explain in more detail what I meant in the comments below the first one. I understand that Finland and Iceland aren't part of what is considered Scandinavia, and I didn't mean offence to anyone from those countries.

  • @settheraytojimmy

I actually think she sounds like Bjork sometimes, too. Not all the time, just certain notes she hits. It has nothing to do with the accent.

  • @settheraytojimmy There is a huge difference in being "American" and being "Scandinavian". Firstly, in order to be considered "Scandinavian" you need to be from Scandinavia. Americans are all not from the same countries, heritage, cultures, or race. This music strikes me as the same crappy Scandinavian trippy shit as Bjork. Not particularly good music, but enjoyable if you're tripping on some drug.

  • @TKMSeznam12 Are you aware that "Scandinavia" isn't one country? It's made up of many countries all with individual differences in language, accent and government. There are similarities obviously because of their ancestry. Similar to the way the States has thousands of variations of an "American accent". That was the point of my Elvis/Axel Rose and Bjork/Karin analogy. I wasn't suggesting that Americans are the same as Scandinavians, that would be an absurd, ignorant and lazy generalisation.

  • @TKMSeznam12 Much like your last sentence.

  • @TKMSeznam12 learn to appreciate music, asshat

  • @deggerful Nicely put!

  • @settheraytojimmy DEAR G_D(dess)! An intelligent comment! I'm so glad I'm not the only person who thinks comparing Karin to Bjork (or Fever Ray to Reznor) makes no sense whatsoever!

Seriously, these messed up comparisons can only be either the sign of people not wanting to appreciate original music or that people, in general, lack a substantial knowledge of the music being made around the world...

  • @datamon21 Exactly! It's just ignorance! Well put!

  • @settheraytojimmy except axl rose and elvis dont have similar voices elvis is like a whole octave lower at the very least

  • @jw2113 Yes that was the point I was getting at! Thanks for explaining the joke for everyone matey! Haha!

  • @settheraytojimmy

Jonny Cash would have been a better comparison than Axel rose. Still though, good point.

  • @settheraytojimmy

Jonny Cash would have been a better comparison than Axel rose. Still though, good point.

  • @settheraytojimmy bjork is from iceland, technically not scandinavia, which is the peninsula. i would say they are from the nordic countries or something along those line. but both good artists nevertheless

  • @settheraytojimmy but they don't have similar accents so its not.

  • No samples in this song......

  • lol gaia...

  • I fell in love with this voice when I heard it by the knife, and i've fallen in love all over again.

  • This is beautiful and disturbing at the same time.
