  • Love the video.

  • wow u have some active pupils :)

  • very creative and helpful. thanks man.

  • Great solution. Thanks.

The problem with LED is the white balance and CRI (color accuracy).

Another is, if you're actually using a macro lens with extension tubes (photos of things that you measure in millimeters), LED's are too weak.

But I figure you made this thinking of someone with a point-and-shoot camera, that just wants a close up of a coin or something larger than a couple of inches.

  • clever idea

  • dude just spend the $60 and buy a Rynox dcr-250. so much better quality and you can use it with pretty much any camera.

  • 4:00 "you can see its illuminated" hehe its freaking burning inside!! hehe :P

and one more thing, how can it be "in focus" if you created it to be in focus with ground? if you put anything inside, its going to be of focus m8. but i like your spirit.

p.s. dont put it on your eye m8, you will get blind lol... McGyver ftw :)

  • Friggin' McGuyver here! Love it, thought you were gonna drill out your finger tho. I laughted outloud during the eye scene, that was pretty trippy. :) THX for sharing, I might need to refer to this in my collectibles business...
