Saw Rhonda Vincent and The Rage last night at The Rudy in Selma,N.C.One of the best shows you will ever see.She did this song and boy was it great.Rhonda came off the stage after the show to meet with fans and to sign autographs and take pictures. She stayed until the very last friend. She really appreciates her fans .She and all band members are down to earth people. If you ever get chance to see them,do yourself a favor and do it.You won't regret it.She's headed for the Grand Ole Opry tonight.
Great video. Never heard of Rhonda Vincent, but just on the basis of this song, I am a fan. Can anyone tell me the name of the man in the black cowboy hat sitting to the right and behind T. Graham Brown?
I gave up on country radio, until they play real country let's bring back the stars that made country what it realy is,No one is ever gonna tell me the steel guitar isn't country, Rhonda keep doing what you do true country fans still listen, taylor swift take your music were it belongs on pop radio.
absolutely beautiful singer,This lady is a Pro (as we all know)!!!!just WOW!!! not to mention she is such a lovely looking lady 100---100 great singer and i love her music!! ty for posting
One of Nashville's enduring guitar wizards; Jimmy Capps is in attendance I am sure. Greatness never changes. I also agree with the positive comments on Rhonda and Mike - The Steeler. I sure wish Leon and Spider would have been there; although, I have not seen the entire video. And, of course; Joe Edwards on guitar of fiddle, or both...............
Nice version and good vocals but a complete world apart from the 'true' version of this song - Emmylou Harris nailed this song over twenty years ago........
Yes, EmmyLou did a fine version...and I have been a fan for as long as I remember. Respectfully, though I have to say that Rhonda Vincent's performance of this song is my favorite.
i would love to hear a duo with rhonda vincent & alison kraus. those two ladies have some wonderful voices and are incredible musicians. they're the queens of bluegrass!
Rhonda you are the best!. I'm a steel player and it is so wonderful to see the PSG featured. Your voice is amazing. I recognized some of the people in the audience. There is nothing better than playing to the giants, and impressing them..Thanks so much for this video, You, Mike and the entire band are amazing.
Rhonda was great. Though I'm not an overall fan, I' ve always felt Diana Trask is the one who nailed this song and owns it. Had forgotten about the Osborne Brothers, though. Theirs was very different, superb harmony.
give it a break jca..i gree with what your saying about emmylou..but i know rhonda and she had nothing but respect for all country singers wtg rhonda mdf
Emmylou's version is like a million times superior to this. At least she sings the song out of respect for it and not merely to show off her own voice.
Dallas, your approval of Rhonda's delivery of your song is all over your face. What a honor! What a beautiful voice preserving the way a Country song is supposed to sound and without a bunch of background singers helping with the highs..... Your voice is just so pure Rhonda.
Mike Johnson is such an awesome steel player and I have had the priveledge of hearing him in person and it is even more awesome!! What a blessing to country music!!
@SidsCardShop Being a fellow singer, songwriter, musician & Missourian, I have been a huge fan of the awesomely talented Rhonda Vincent for years! She is the Queen of Bluegrass & does a fabulous job on this song! With that being said & without knocking Rhonda whatsoever, I have to disagree with your comment that Frazier has never heard the song sung that well! Let us not forget Emmy Lou Harris & the wonderful job she did on it way back when! Have a great evening! :-)
She's special.

there are very few writers these days who can write a song like Dallas Frazier .thanks for sharing it.
