  • RIP Macho Man Randy Savage, "Mr. Perfect" Curt Henning, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan

  • @romans52345 uhh Hacksaw is still alive

  • @romans52345 Duggan isn't dead

  • RIP MACHO MAN AND MR PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Crappy volume on this video.

  • rip macho and perfect

  • Curt Henning was a Ring Technician, he and Rick Rude were Awesome!!

  • The Perfect choice!!!

  • @1Eu4ic To this day, I feel Mr. Perfect SHOULD have won Rumble 1993 instead of Yokozuna. IMAGINE...Perfect V. Bret Hart....the rematch of Summerslam! Also...Perfect NEVER HAD THE WWF WORLD TITLE! Just wow! I felt also...watch Rumble 1993...he had a HUGE pop. He was REALLY over, and WWF killed imo his chance.

Also..why didnt Perfect wrestle FOREVER when Flair came? Was he hurt? Did he want a break? I always wondered that too!

  • @shadydawg555 Yeah He was really over at that point in time, he was actually going to get the world title on two different occasions and in both cases he injured his lower back and couldn't wrestle, but could still walk around, so, the first time he became Flair's executive consultant, and the second time he just took time off after his feud with Lex Luger. It really does kinda suck, but on the other hand, back in these days the IC championship was IMO the better title in terms of good matches.

  • @RicoLen1

Agreed. My favorite match ever is Hart v. Perfect at Summer Slam for the IC- which if I'm not mistaken was Perfect's last match before this one.

  • @GrassValleyGreg Yah, mine is Hart vs Bulldog at SS'92. That match is absolutely incredible. Back then IC title matches were amazing.

  • @shadydawg555 Titles changed has much less frequently then. A talent like Perfect would have won it many many times over in this day and age.

  • Macho man is very good @ survival.

  • The steroid trial was 1-2 years later. Vince was taken off the air for the trials.

  • Mr Perfect's face turn seemed to come out of nowhere back then

  • Lets say that Warrior did not get fired and stuck around for this Survivor Series Main Event, It would've been interesting to see how this match would have turned out.

Also, I always wondered what was the original plan for Mr. Perfect's return to the ring beisdes this this being their last resort in terms of storyline.

  • aww man, i remember watching this!!! brings back loads of memories!!!

  • I think perfect was a better heel than a face. Hes exactly the same either way. It suited him more as a bad guy

  • This was when Vince was alot more fun to watch.

  • ho ly crap, this was the segment that made me a fan. After this I was a HUGE Mr. Perfect fan.

During the golden age you had Hogan, Savage, & Warrior, during the attitude era you had Rock, Austin & HHH, nowadays you've got Cena, Ortan, Bautista. I swear during that 5 year limbo between the end of the golden age and the beginning of the attitude era Bret Hart & Shawn Micheals should have be accompanied by Mr. Perfect. Perfect was better behind the mic and in the ring than either of those two too.

  • Not so much Shawn Michaels, but definitely better than Bret Hart on the stick!

  • This is one of the best booked angles of 1992.

  • warrior did suck

  • fuck ultimate warrior he sucks

  • I forgot how awesome this was. I remember sitting on the edge of my seat for this whole show. Greatness.

  • Hell Yeah, this was great, I am 30 now, so I well remember all of this as a youngster.. lol... Modern WWE is shit and I do not like the TNA desperation any better... I watch TONS of old school via online, and try to DL all I can, incase it gets taken away...

  • this is one of the reasons i watch the wwf i remember this i was a kid

  • oldschool was mutch better wwe now is crap gives me vomits!!ohhh yeahhh dig it!!!

  • If any wrestling fan out there has better footage of Mr Perfect's face turn please post.

  • Damn. Macho Man sure was a snappy dresser

  • Comment removed

  • How old was Stephanie at this time?

  • She was 16.

  • Warrior got fired so many times.

  • Ultimate Warrior was fired just before this, wasn't he? That's why Savage had to get a new partner?

  • yep thats why mr perfect had to step in

  • @residualbill thats vince's fault.

  • @residualbill that would be correct. damn warrior,. i remember he no showed me when i was 8, it took me 3 months to make this huge poster for him and he no showed my 8 year old ass.

  • @akuma4u Did he no-show you before or after his firing? I wouldn't be surprised if it was before. Anyway, my understanding is he was fired because he was getting this cocky rockstar ego and he tried to blackmail McMahon by demanding more money or he would no-show Summerslam. Vince agreed and paid him the amount, but was fired right after. He was brought back but fired again, this time for steroids allegedly found in a random drug test. This led to Mr. Perfect replacing him.

  • @residualbill thats a good question, im not sure if it was before or after the SS incident,. he was suppose to take on the undertaker and they announced at the beginning of the show that he could not make it and instead macho man would be his replacement and if people didnt like that, they could get refunds before the 2nd match. Warrior was at summerslam and minutes before he was suppose to be introduced he said he wouldnt go out unless mcmahon paid him more money. what a loser.

  • @residualbill that was summerslam 91....this time around he actually got fired due to a failed drug test

  • @akuma4u I would've sent that poster to him, but I would've pissed all over it first.

  • @residualbill As I recall, yes he was fired,he was fired because he wouldn't live up to his contract as personal appearances and autograph signings, that's why Vince fired him.

  • @residualbill Yes, steroid tests were serious then because the government was trying to take vince down.

  • haha what makes me chuckle with Macho Man is that he'd talk all loud, then go real quiet, like he was suddenly miming, then talk loud again, just like Sycho Sid used to do.

Those were the days of the awesome promos!

  • @KevKev26 it probably has a lot to do with the poor video quality... old tape...

  • is there any way that there could be better quality? I' m just asking, but thanks for the upload.

  • vinnie mac has worn someof the worst suits ever worn by man!!!

  • This interview is the reason I got my parents to buy the first ppv that I ever got. Survivor Series 92.

  • Macho Man really gets into Bobbyy "The Weasel" Heenan's head and makes him, Ric Flair and Razor Ramon look like total idiots.

  • These were the days.

  • ...when wrestling was enjoyable...

  • Aw...but I wanted to see High Energy take on The Beverley Brothers! Fuck!

  • I'd have to say that this is one of the best face turns in history of the WWE.

  • Macho Man's outfit looks great in this promo. Why can't I find the actual match this promo is leading up to???

  • "Listen, I admire your wrestling abilities, even though I don't like you..."

    HAHAHA lol

  • I prefer Mr Perfect as a heel

  • How come Warrior didnt make Survivor Series?

i think it was good that Perfect turned to a babyface because he was a heel that the fans liked to cheer!

    RIP: Mr Perfect

  • He was fired from the WWF.

  • oh right,

wonder why he was fired, but never mind!!

    have a good day!

  • Originally, The Ultimate Warrior was going to be "Macho Man" Randy Savage's partner for this match, but he left the company a week prior to the event. Instead, Mr. Perfect was turned face, breaking his relations with Flair and Bobby Heenan to team with Savage in a last-minute attempt to salvage the match.

  • The Warrior was continually no-showing scheduled events. Thus, Vince fired him. It was also supposed to be Warrior v Hitman at Royal Rumble 93.

  • Plus, he was doing drugs.

  • apparently he was off roids when they became illegal. He was just "above the business" and did as he pleased. It she looks like he did drugs though...lol.

  • How the fuck do U know?? You ve spoken to Jim huh??? please, Warrior was egocentrical but not a druggy

  • I don't know, but it sure looked like it.

  • Warrior not a druggie? What the hell do you consider steroids???? CANDY????

DUMBASS!!!!! Warrior was one of the biggest, if not THE biggest user at the time....MORON!!!

  • Well to Warriors credit and other wrestlers during that era steroids were legal with a doctors prescription in the 80s and early 90s.

  • Although, when it comes to steroids, it wasn't like they were performance enhancers because you could take all kinds of steroids and it still wouldn't mean you'd get a push.

  • @lawrence142002 I disagree, because in the late '80s, big meant push. Hulk Hogan (was originally 275 lbs, but didn't get his push until he was over 300), Ultimate Warrior (couldn't wrestle, but was pushed anyway because of his size).

  • Of course bigger guys got pushes, but look at all the roided freaks who didn't, like Hercules,

Although, as for Warrior, there's a guy I never would've hired away from Texas if it had been me.

  • Literally the biggest user of steroids. He was bigger than Hogan and Hogan was massive.

  • another face vs face... hum.. I m not sure about that...

  • I suppose Vince McMahon had the Warrior scripted to turn heel prior to that.

  • The Greatest OF ALL TIME.....MR PERFECT!!!!!!!!

  • I remember watching this. I couldn't believe Savage actually asked Perfect to be his partner!

  • Perfect Pick

  • God VHS ruled! How did DVD ever take over ? lol

  • Wrestling was in decline back then and it was still better then the shit they churn out today.

  • I'd have to agree with you 100%,Branewbie!I'd say between 1992-1996 was a dry spell for pro wrestling in general, but WWE's Attitude Era was quietly developing in late '96 as they developed Stone Cold Steve Austin's character slowly into a babyface, although he'd been initially reluctant about that because he had felt it would kill his character's heat.Keep in mind that the Rock was still Rocky Maivia then.

  • "we have a winner" good one bobby.

  • Why

did this come on at 11pm

  • This is phenomenal, looking back. Basically, they have two hours to rescue the buyrate for "Survivor Series" (in an era of only four PPVs a year) and they actually DO IT.

  • I was shocked to see Mr Perfect,as his partner.Cool memories.

  • i haven't seen this since it first aired... aside from Ric Flair showing up on WWF with the WCW title a year earlier, and Jericho's debut this was the most exciting moment for me a s a wrestling fan. i was only 6 at the time so this totally got me pumped

  • ABSOLUTELY... PERFECT!

  • Ive been looking for this for the longest time. Thank you!

  • The Ultimate Warrior he left in 1992 and his back in 1996

  • RIP Mr. Perfect.

  • Bless you sir.

  • The old school classic
