I did this last night. Took me 2 hours of non stop trying. You can do it guys. Once I did this, it gave me the motivation to finish the challenge. I am currently just starting Adult Link. Now the fun begins.

I did this years ago, and I saved in the Thieve's Hideout like the guide said. Took a break, loaded the game back up... and I'm back in Kokiri Forest. That discouraged me from ever doing it again, needless to say. Tried it again today and got it after a few hours but got caught by the damn guards instantly. I'm so done with this trick.

It sounds like you saved in Gerudo's Fortress, not Thieves' Hideout.

stand on the same steak as in this video but when you jump go under the bridge and towards the gate then jumpslash, way easier..

Alright, I know I'm on the edge of the spike, but whenever I try to jump to the left, or even straight out, I can never get enough height to my jump.

Going in a straight line will normally not get you enough speed. You need to go toward the bridge, then make a quick turn left.

@Zalen999 the steak is triangle shaped, theres a point pointing out to the left if your facing towards the gate, get as far as you can on that point without falling off, angle yourself so the left wing of the cucco is almost touching the gerudo then hold forward(if your using an old n64 controller push forward it till your thumb hurts :P)then the second link jumps turn the joystick

How did you get so much air from the jump? When I attempt this, I can barely stay airborne for a second.

Make sure you get some speed before jumping so you do a full jump and not just a hop.

apparently there is some way of climing a seam (where to faces meet) with the cucco and then jumping and gliding past the gate from higher up as an alternative for the cucco jump if you didn't want to use a sword to jump attack. also the site that claims it is possible says it's really difficult and i've tried and after 5 and 1/2 hours of frustration i gave up. wonder if its possible

This glitch is so hard but I think that is more useful than the Bombchu Hover, well that's what I think. It took many times but I managed to pass the fence and get to the Gerudo's Fortress.

I finally did the Cucco Jump, after about 16 hours total of trying. I am currently on the Shadow Temple, but am at Gerudo Valley trying to buy more Bombchus. The adult gate skip is very difficult, but as always, you make it look easy Cheeseoman.
