I was there n seen him come on early to play for the few of us that were lucky enough to go sit down instead of standin waiting for a beer in the f@#$n line ups! However, I think, over the years Eddie has seen enough of his friends and constituents lost to drugs and other abuses to be able to sing songs like this from the heart.

Other than that... It is a generational thing. No different than people who like sad excuse for bands like AC/DC and Kiss. It's what was there when they were growing up.

This was awesome . . . I just remember standing in my great seats, holding my beer, with the sun setting nicely over the amphitheatre casting the venue in a warm orange light while Eddie serenaded us . . . amazing.
