Kiffin was hired WAY earlier in the season than Dooley and as a result did a hell of lot more recruiting than Fulmer did. That 2009 class was mostly the product of Kiffin's staff as was the 2010 staff. And that's bullshit because only 2 Kiffin's recruits got kicked off the team, your best players guys like Janzen Jackson are still there.

Teague was actually warned by the compliance department at USC about a week before the incident even happened, so I have know idea why he still choose to offer Baxter that ride. It's something that he does done for a lot of students though.

I don't think anyone questions why he's allowed to be on campus with a golf cart, he's a student and he can choose whatever mode of transportation he feels like to get around campus whether it's by bike, skateboard, or golf cart.

Did I say because he was a student he could give something of value to the players? No. I said as a student he's free to use whatever means he wants to get to class. Offering Dillon a ride was a very dumb move on his part, especially after our compliance already talked to him. He's kind of a tool though I'm not surprised he didn't think about the consequences. Regardless the situation's already over Dillon didn't play while he was ineligible so USC didn't break any rules.

Guess who's already reinstated... after 6 whole days of being ineligible. Again the situation's over and as a bitter Vols fan with a clear agenda you jumped to conclusions. Baxter after paying a whole whopping sum of $5, the determined amount of the ride, is now eligible to play. No sanctions, no penalty to the program because the staff did nothing wrong.

Because I'm not an idiot like you. In 2002, when Bush was a senior Kiffin was a graduate assistant helping out with the WRs not even a full-time coach. In 2002 for Bush, Kennedy Pola USC's RB coach was his main recruiter not Kiffin.

There was no evidence against Herschel Dennis there were no charges, and while the investigation was going Carroll suspended him. Then how do you explain UCLA's lack of success? UCLA is in Westwood just outside of Beverly Hills and they haven't attracted the same caliber of recruits over the last decade as USC has. Clearly it isn't JUST to live in LA on scholarship... there's tradition, the quality of education, the coaching staffs, the recent record of athletes placed in the NFL, the fans, etc.

Dillon had contact with a business student that I actually know personally named Teague Egan, he didn't give Dillon anything except a ride in a golf cart. As a precaution the coaching staff reported it to the NCAA and held Dillon out for one game. I'm sure you'll be glad to know Dillon's already eligible to play next week.

Which is why I said you don't read very well if you think you saw anything on ESPN's site about Dillon Baxter being "gone". His reinstatement is was already filed all he has to do is pay a couple dollars for what the NCAA determines was the value of the "golf cart ride" so that he doesn't have an unfair advantage.

This only made news because USC's compliance has to be careful about EVERYTHING, as a bitter Vols fan you want to believe something else, but that isn't the case.

Players get ruled ineligible all the time, like for academics, and then they get reinstated that's the nature of college football. If your ineligible for one game, or even one semester, that doesn't mean you're gone from the team, Baxter being ineligible, which has been said 4-5 times now, doesn't justify you ignorantly trying to say "say good bye to Dillon Baxter".
