When City play the likes of Bolton,Wigan,Wolves etc they struggle to fill half their ground out which is about 20,000, now when United play teams like that they are basically allmost full up 76-77,000. Man Citeh = Small team with a bigger ground than what they should have..... Man United = Massive team who should have a stadium in the range of 85-90,000.
Or shall we talk about how United had the highest average attendance in the country for 16 out of the 20 seasons between 1970 and 1990 (the 4 which we didn't was because of the redevelopment of OT) despite only having a few FA Cup wins to our name and our record being not too disimilar to City's?
Hmm yeah, 307 course it would. Great reply. And Premier League level has nothing to do with it. Considering 'Manchester is blue' and you're the 'third best supported club in the country etc' 3007 is shameful for for any so-called big club playing a first team game.
And yeah let's talk about history. Shall we talk about United having the highest average home attendance in the whole country during the 74/75 season even though we were in the old division 2?
Funny that because with Manchester being Blue you'd expect City to sell out the Etihad, sorry, United Stadium every other week, yet this never happens. And in some games there are 20,000 empty seats at the United stadium.
