Nice marketing pitch. There is nothing new about slipper clutches or fly by wire on a road going bike. Splitting hairs that the VFR isn't a superbike. You can't buy a race bike can you? Valves in the exhaust are mostly to due with noise regs. VFR might be different I suppose. Layered fairing improves handling? How? You might get aerodynamics but that isn't going to improve handling in a parking lot. It's more than like a way to manage heat, as well as improve fuel efficiency at speed.
