  • Saturday mornings. I found the first drain on DVD over the summer.

  • Thanks for posting this I use to watch this on satu

  • JackWild he makes me laugh! (':

  • "I never have lived so I never shall die..."

A little dark for today's standards. Kids shows used to be so much better.

  • This is how you do the electric boogaloo check out how fluent and smooth his moves are.

  • The sets, costumes and songs would draw you into a fantasy world that you never wanted to leave.Saturday mornings wouldn't of been the same without it and it can never be replaced.Jack Wild will always be Jimmy...May he rest in peace.

  • Wonderful scene. However, what I love most is the terrific horn section in the music. Very progressive for a kid's show.

  • Found this show recently and fell in love with it!

  • Jack Wild = Xtreme sweetness

  • Jack Wild and Van Charles Snowden are both dead now. RIP and thanks for entertaining us.

  • Sounds worse than the real thing that I have. The other one sounds WAY better.

    P.S Love Pufnstuf

  • This stuff was ahead of it's time!.. These song and scene and little things they say have a whole different meaning now a days..noones as creative as these people and I agree the old cartoons meri melodies and popeye were great!

  • What's astounding to me is they committed this to film instead of video. God bless Sid and Marty Krofft. You could never get a production studio to film such imagination for kids now.

  • i'm younger than most people that ever watched this show, and it makes my heart soar to see that boy dancing and singing and happy <3 i wish he never did drugs, and i wish he never died because then maybe i would have had the honor to meet the sweet boy with an amazingly gifted voice and soul :)

  • lol this song makes me laugh big time hahah but i love it and i love jack wild..and that little dance he does..

  • I'll say this, that kid can pop and lock...

  • @NoGuff it was the 60s-70s give it a breakxD

  • A REMIX is needed!

  • This is actually really deep and stuff

Also the best break into song in the series imo

  • Can someone tell me WTF happened to saturday morning cartoons?

All three(abc cbs nbc) channels had shows like this or cartoons on saturday mornings till noon.

Did Sumner Redstone ruin saturday mornings, like he ruined mtv?

  • Man I just can't stop singing this song, I showed it to my friend and he can't stop singing it also.

  • I wish jack was a mechanical boy so he never would have died :(

  • @xXxXInspireMeXxXx I agree :( It's sad.

  • 'I never lived so I can never die'. WHOOOA,Thats deep man. I luv Puff my Stuff.

  • Jimmy was one of my first crushes, too. This was was my favourite episode when I was a wee girl. I swooned when he sang this with his cute accent and cute hair. ;o)

  • at 0:40 or 0:39 or 0:38 or 0:37 he says Mechanical toy

  • I was born in Manchester near Jack's village. My gram use to go on about how Jack made it to the states and wat a success he'd become.

  • They couldn't spring for a more robotic-looking costume? I guess that would be a dead give-away. Still, a good song. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • No matter which movies/series he was acting in, he always gave something extra. He always made so much out of his roles <3

  • Jack Wild was my first crush....

  • I call that Jimmy's brown UPS pants.

  • what the....

  • One of the Kroft brothers (I forget which one) was quoted as saying that this is too creative for us to be on something while doing this show....or, something close to that quote.

  • Thats how i used to dance when i would snort crystal meth ... lol

  • Yikes, that music.

  • I dont know how I got stuck on 8 but you are absolutely right. I may buy the dvd set knowing this. Thanks for the correction!

  • Can you believe there were only 8 episodes to this wonderful show? Jack Wild was a huge crush for me and my best friend Toni. Every saturday morning we would watch hoping this episode would come on. Thanks for posting!

  • @hayleywins Wasn't there 17 episodes?

  • My 8th grade teacher made us watch this episode on our last day. Today.

  • The Mechanical Boy song would be perfect for Stewie on Family Guy to sing!

  • Look at Pufnstuf's expression at 0:18!!!!!!!

  • My 11th grade teacher made our class watch this scene over and over on our last day. lol

  • Happy! AhahahahaHAHHAAHAA!

  • I'm digging puff nstuffs go go boots!!!! Lmao! ...... White boots jesus!!!!!!

  • i cant stop looking at those now ... thanks

  • @d13tv I think they're actually supposed to be cowboy boots, since in the movie he also wore a white cowboy hat. But yeah, without the hat, they do look like go-go boots.

  • @taskzulu arent those cowboy boots? :p

  • This is funny!
