  • 6:12-6:15 LOL!

  • Nice video

  • the reason your old power supply blow out because you cut the wires you never ever cut wires coming from you power supply going to what ever you cut it for never ever ever cut power supply wires

  • i'd just like to say thank you for this video. although im not a complete noob in regards to software. building a computer was another issue for me. but thanks to your video, i was able to install my new 750w power supply with ease and no problems! thank you so much!

  • WOW Thanks so much, I bought the game Rift, and needed a new video card, and a new power supply...It is a Rosewill, so I'll have my netboo watching this video while doing it. Thanks so much.

  • visual aids are sooo helpful... thank you for uploading a tutorial on youtube. :D

  • i got a doa motherboard and had to rma sad :(

  • where did you buy that computer case or computer?

  • THanksfor the vid

  • Lol! i hope your video will help me to install my new power supply, because i never built up a PC. XD

  • Nice man even you make those mustakes I have learned some basics from you.

    Thank you

  • i cant stop loling at what you call the wires, im sorry. i understand its probably frustrating not knowing what your doing but you have to understand that for someone who does know, its quite funny. like when you said the cpu power connector was for the fans on the motherboard, THAT was funny. i still dont get why you cut the wires... i would be way to scared to cut anything!

  • what will happen if i put any wire wrong.

  • @1sh714q your computer explodes.

  • do you have to apply a bit of force to remove the cables? out of the motherboard ect

  • thanks for this. Im gonna try doing it your way

  • pretty successful install. i'm upgrading my psu too. gotta love installing new power. BEAM ME UP SCOTTY

  • that tower look so kl like the front of a bmw lol

  • Looks like a big fire hazard there lol . I remember my first time building a computer too. Now i build them almost with my eyes closed.

  • i got a boot disk failure when i took out my power supply and put in a new one..

  • u either installed it wrong, shocked ur DVD drive or one of ur cables must be fucked up.

  • nice video. im a first time builder myself so i know what you mean about not being a genious

  • what would of done you better was a modular powersupply because you go so many loose ends! great video though

  • I think they will, PSU's of today are quite similiar to eachother, but -as said- if you're having a slimline, the case will be too small for a 750W, you have to ask HP Help and Support.

  • 7.4 x 4.8 x 0.3 inches ; 1.3 ounces

  • it should fit fine.

  • Any standard atx power supply will fit fine in your case. I use the antec basiq but you should buy a corsair one off newegg.

  • There are many variations of HP's pavilion computer. What model number is it? I know that both of my old pavilions power supplies were upgradable. if it's a slimline computer, you're going to have trouble.

  • And the 6 pin molex was for a video card that needs that much power.

  • you cut the wires on your new power supply...to tape ones from your old shitty one? that's got to be the worst idea ever lol

  • depends on if you have a standard atx case or a proprietary one from a company such as hp. If you have an atx case, any atx power supply will work.

  • Thanks man... you helped... gave me some ideas.. and how not to screw up.

  • lol, the thing you were worried about cutting was just a splitter for fans, it has nothing to do with thermostats...and most mobos have the plugs right on them. oh, and wtf with all the cutting?!

  • um...why not plug the thermostat into the mobo, and not the power-supply?

  • 1. that camera is such good quality, every youtuber should use that lol

    2. your tower looks like a bmw

    3. dual monitor = win

  • cool video!

  • hey, i would love to see a tour of your setup, nice video too!

  • OKAY so i watched this out of order....but this is sweet....if ya ever want to shoot anything else dealing with this type of stuff...don't hesitate!!!
