My brother was part of the 4th ID at Fort Hood. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families of the victims there. I'm a military wife on a small base in Germany. We're all shaken up here, so I can only imagine what you guys are going through.

There is 3 schools on fort hood that are locked down right now.

The situation is chill.....i havnt heard gun shot's in a while...

and this is not an armed base.......for that reason......the only people armed on this base is the police, the soldiers only get weapons right before they are deployed.
