@nikesk8er10 question. how long have you studied snakes? you're 15? i'm 46 and have studied them since i was 9. now, look at a field guide. i have National Audubon Society field guide to Reptiles & Amphibians. i'm assuming you don't have a copy, otherwise you wouldn't be disputing me. if i can quote from pp. 622 and 623, 'the Eastern Milk snake has a Y- or V- shaped patch on nape(neck, or back of head).' look at this video at :01, :05, :10, :13, :45, :48, :57, and 1:25 and tell me what YOU see.
Those look like Jungle Corns to me. A Hybrid.(Corn crosses with king snake). Still got the checker bottom of a corns but crazier colouring. I love them. I'll add a jungle corn to my collection later. Right now I have a Blizzard, Bloodred, Creamsicle(also a hybrid of ratsnake and corn), and a normal corn
Its an Eastern Milk Snake i see them all the time, a Corn Snake is much more orange and there head is shaped more like a python as for an Eastern Milk Snake is shaped more like a king snake.
there are many colors and morphs of corns i think its a eastern milk snake to but all corn snakes arnt oarnge i hav a oarnge one a pink one a brownish one
sorry i take my words back i didnt relise what an eastern milk snake looked like i thought it was just like a regular milk snake but i found out it wasnt, so yea it could be a eastern or a corn, either way its a type of rat snake 1 way or another :P
LOL thats completly wrong corn snakes look Nothing like python heads i bet u didnt even had a corn snakes it mite be a eastern milk but corns look nothing like a pythons head
ok, aside from everyone else's opinions, mine is fact. that is a great plains rat snake and the reason you can tell is the extra subocular scale behind the eye of the snake on each side. corns have 1 less than that particular type of rat snake. and for the person up there who called you stupid because it has a checkered belly, theres about 7 genus' that have that pattern. corn snakes are just pretty rat snakes.
i think its a Anerythristic corn snake, they are a lil bit darker than common corn snakes which are orange, it would help if we knew where the guy was from, im from upstate ny and corn snakes are not found here no matter what anyone says but the eastern milk snake is found everywhere here as well as the surrounding states, and it does look very much like a milk but im still leaning towards the Anerythristic corn snake
No. To a person who is uneducated on snake species and whose' little brain cannot comprehend the fact that some different species of snakes look similiar to a cornsnakes "pattern," not pattorn you idiot... But, you are so fucking retarded your incompetent ass tries to insult me. So, fuck you, and I'm the retard? Look at your diction, it looks like you should go back to elementary... faggot. Try to insult me again bitch.
lmao go black out somewhere else you phsyco. haha and if your gonna diss my spelling then at least spell correctly you by reading a "dictionary" and i dont study snakes like some kind of fagget so i guess your right its a milk snake.
wtf is that supposed to mean "blackout"? Your second sentence makes no sense at all. Did I say I studied snakes? No? Then dont imply that. So what im tryin to say is if you're goin to try to insult me at least make sure your sentences are understandable you fuckin ass clown.
its a carolina corn snake i shud know i got one and its exactly the same and if anyone tells you any different their wrong just type in carolina corn snake on google images and compare them they look the same
You better watch out thats a wild snake and a corn snake as I think it is one if not then a milk snake both that are un tamed can get pissed off as hell. And their bites hurt a bit. Thats what I was told.I never got bitten YET.I am getting a nice normal corn snake too! :D I am so proud of myself lol!!
LOL! cornsnakes are very docile and dont get pissed off easily, nor do either of the snakes bites hurt a single bit. it will scare you a little bit but it doesnt hurt at all lol.
i found the same exact snake i thought it was a jungle corn also but i took it to the pet shop and they said it was definatly a Milk Snake there beautiful
I released it once the weather was warm enough. It was disturbed during its hybernation when its home inside an old block foundation was tore up. At the time there was still snow on the ground so I decided to take it in for a while gave it some mice and when it was warm enough send it on its way. Since then Ive purchased two ball pythons and they are awsome.
looks like a corn snake to me or some kind of rat snake off the rat snake and corn snake family, as long as u r giving a basking temperature of 80 to 85F everything should be fine
Nice Eastern milk snake. Very easy to confuse them with corn snakes. I have a very old breeding pair of these. Beautiful snakes.
