As an ex-Muslim this brought on a ripple of nostalgia. It reminds one of my Salafi incarnation when I used to conduct classes in tajweed at the masjid. An accomplished recital of the Quran, like the rhapsody of a mellifluous hymn, is always pleasant until one takes a moment to register the content of what's actually being read. The biggest anti-climax.
