i loved alaric in this ep. when he was on the phone with stefan and didnt care about anything until he heard damon was dying and then when bonnie was trying to reserect jeremy and alaric was like "he's just a kid, so tell them to shut up" and this scene to...i freaking love him and im really glad they kept him alive, i would have been very sad if they didnt
