I feel very similarly to you in that being gay is somewhat influenced by environmental factors.. The situation with your parents is extremely similar to mine.

I like your story. I have had similar experiences. .... coming out is in a way knowing yourself better and sharing that part that you know with the ones you love is a brave step .... and it does bring people closer together.
