What is annoying is that if they were to make a movie based on this today, they'd make it for an adult audience. It wouldn't be R, it'd be pg or pg-17 for violence, and the implication would be that you could take your kids, but that's only by today's erodes, warped, f*cked up standards. Yeah, it was cheesy, but at least it wasn't trying to sell violence. Today's "kids shows" are rated g versions of Reservoir Dogs.

two different companies own the rights. Warner owns Shazam because it is a DC Comics property. Isis was an original Filmation creation.

Don't know if you know the series well, but as I recall, this episode was as "violent" as it got. Don't know if some watchdog group got involved, but his was one of the earlier episodes.

The other episodes involved Isis chanting incantations and things would happen. She once put out a forest fire by making it rain. Still a classic childrens show from the 70's. And yes, she hair was indeed beautifully long.

I grew up watching this series in the 70's and I also remember those wonderful episodes where she recited the various incantations for her powers. I loved it when she would fly! I also recall her replicating herself many times to surround her enemy.
