My job position allows me interact with countless CEOs of major corporations across the country. Their work schedule is on average 6 days per week 14 hrs a day. Their job does not stop when they leave the office, their responsibility follows them home, on vacations and everywhere they go. As an employee at McDonalds their responsibility stops upon punching their time clock.

My girlfriend is a doctor, and she works on average 60 to 70 hours a week. She is responsible for the life or death of others. What keeps anybody from becoming a doctor ? You want to do it, do it. Or become anything, in any profession, where you can make lots of money.

Um....am I debating their level of education? No. I was arguing on the basis of how hard the individual workers work. CEOs can enjoy their AC, luxurious offices, but the crop-picker ultimately works harder than most any CEO in the hot fields.

Think about this....If everyone were educated to the same level, who would fill the McDonald's and farm jobs? Nobody..they contribute to society just as much as the CEO or any other worker for that matter

Our government panders to the pharmeceutical companies. It is all about greed. Americans have to stand up and demand a major change. If you watch the entire Sicko documentary you will get angry at our government. People in Europe, France and Canada live less stressful, healthier lives than we do. Why not a social system where all have health care? Holland is a good example. We pay a reasonable price and are provided good health and dental care. When you make a lot of money you pay more for your insurance... make less then you pay less. Makes sense... ????

Same thing in America. Problem is, the government won't go after the insurance companies to make them lower their premiums to make it more affordable. In my opinion, insurance companies, like corporations such as Wal Mart are a big reason that capitalism (as it relates the the American mixed economy) doesn't work. In my opinion, there needs to be more intervention in businesses rather than giving away money and increasing the national debt further like Moore suggests.

Everyone: I just wrote a letter to my congressman, urging him to improve our health system, and I haven't lived in the US for 4 years (though still a US citizen). If I can do something, so can you. If you walk out of Sicko hoping that you'll get better health care, but then do nothing, then you will have wasted the momentum created by this film. We must act now if we want change!

Michael Moore is a true American patriot and speaks extremely cogently about the three steps that need to be taken to make sure that universal health care is treated as the human right it should be in this country.
