Are the Keys like on those on a Korg Triton Studio? Or in the one in Yamaha PSR Series?? I have go so used to the RUBBER Keys (as I call it in KORG). So I need a board with that kind of keys.. Please let me know :-)
@WolchowsFilmschmiede Well, maybe, but that extra manual would then best be acting as a "Lower". How could all automatic stuff be coupled to the external manual and the internal acting as an "upper" with no auto stuff? I am used to have access to the auto stuff via a "lower" manual.
@Riskteven Hmm well that´s a fact. I´m used to play with those technique, I don´t have much experience with organ-playing, I only played a WERSI Gala or a YAMAHA MC200, not so much i guess =)
@Riskteven It it possible to play the chords for the Automatic stuff via an external Manual, if that was ya question =). You can alos play the left part via ext. manual
@Riskteven Tyros is a very good Keyboard, now aviable in the 4th Generation, Tyros 1 is only aviable as a used one ;-) You won´t regret it. And the MIDI capabilities are very very good =)

But I really miss Yamaha's Flagship Electone. They cancelled that product line and that is the worst they have done. Even worse than if they would have stop making MC bikes.

Top video certainly gives beginners like me a bit of a heads up what to expect from these models.
I had a quick play around with a Tyros 2 last weekend and was shown a 'guide' function which allowed the score of a midi to be displayed, but when playing the midi would stop until you play the correct note which made for really good learning.
Can anyone tell me if the Tyros 1 and/or PSR-S900 have this same feature?
Mr Madden, I am very fond of your playing,I really enjoy your ¨class¨ and the way you show the TYROS 1, I just wich you do the same with the new TYROS 3, sence you are the only one that has the patience to show all the buttons beside the nices songs you play. Does anybody know the title of the latin song played at about 16mins into the vid? he plays it under the "Latin Organ Sound" this man is the business!
you could download the midi file crokett and use notation sofware to convert it to sheet music its also possile to get the chords too from the sofware .. its free sofware although for 31days only .. cheers
ive got one, supperb piece of kit, yamaha could have included a sampler function like the PSR7000, 8000, 9000 and 9000 pro, then came along the PSR10,000 (Tyros), no sampler in sight, wierd. but never the less this keyboard is as brilliant as in my studio as when it is on stage!

The only thing about this instrument that makes it uninterested for my needs is that it only has one manual and no bass pedals.

@Riskteven But you can add one Manual via MIDI, and add a basspedal on the same way, Tyros got 2 MIDI IN ;-)

Who need Tyros4?
For the most people is Tyros1 more than enought... And you can buy new styles today too.
I play it since 2003 and the sounds are good enough for all actually songs.

everyone for slow songs use these three settings
Voice 1: Grand Piano, Piano Section
Voice 2: Live! Strings, Strings Section
Voice 3: SweetHeaven, Choir Section
And lower the piano down to 75 and the Sweet Heaven Up to about 112
These sounds are amazing toghether.
