I was wondering if you could do a lesson on how to explain the moves and tactics of shogi pieces in Japanese? Im learning Japanese at the moment and it would be really helpful and would help me to play against some Japanese people here in Kagawa-ken :D Incidentally, my friend Shirai-san (a maths teacher) is one of the top ranked amateur players in the prefecture. Do you know of a way to find records of games he's played? And if they are interesting could you review some? Thank you so much :oD

I think its interesting how you have Nruto appear across the screen at the beginning. I remember seeing shogi played on Naruto is the reason I began searching for someone to teach me the game and that's how i found your videos

Just one more quick thing, is there any way that we can incorporate your Shogi pieces into the BCM Shogi program, such as maybe some way to impliment the pieces in the program, because I'd love to try and at least get used to the Internationalized pieces, and I'm sure many others think so too. The pieces don't have to be finalized & can still be updated later if you feel like there're changes that can be made :O

@xDAZZE: A new version of BCMShogi was released just recently and it has the option to use the HIDETCHI theme, which is high-resolution and contains the option to use internationalized pieces.

The pieces in the new BCMShogi are the ones with 'round-shield' pawns, which are my older version of internationalized pieces. But BCM will update them to be the newest ones as time goes. More over he's thinking of making a additional download page for only graphic themes.

Thinking about that, I have take care of the following:

1) it should be (much) work for me (so I don't like that all people sending me files which I have to put at - some - internetpage)

2) I don't like to get problems with illegal things

There you can up- and download graphics, sounds, ...

Unfortunately the file-section is limited to 100 MB, but we will see ...

I like the new pointy-tipped pawn. It looks better and different from European Chess pawn and also indicates that it will go forward in all situations.

I just think that the promoted Minor Pieces would look better if the Gold's Pendant is there rather than simply "missing". Maybe you can overlap/attach a bit to the pawn/silver/knight/lance below it, it's still fine :)

Anyways, love the advertisement video, and I'm glad to say that I've watched all videos you made so far :)

Actually I had another viewer tell me the same suggestion about the pendant on promoted golds. So if you look at them carefully, you'll notice I've added a small round pendant that he suggested instead of the long pendant, although it's too small to recognize. :-)
