There's just something about Takayuki Miyauchi's vocals that always manage to convey a feel of epicness. I recommend checking out the Video Senshi Laserion and Ginga Nagareboshi Gin's OPs too.

It's kind of a shame that such a great song was wasted on a group of the goofiest villains in the whole Dragonball series. (Ninja Murasaki was particularly pathetic.) The only good villain in the Red Ribbon Army was Mercenary Tao, and he "died" after just a few episodes; by the time he returned, the Red Ribbon Saga had been over for quite some time. It wasn't until the King Piccolo Saga that we finally got a truly great villain.
Murasaki was a coward! He didn't even come out of hiding and fight Goku until all of his tricks and boobytraps had failed, and even then he ended up running away. Besides, he was mostly played for laughs, anyway.
You know what? This argument is pointless. All we're accomplishing is wasting each other's time. Let's just agree to disagree and move on with our lives, okay?
