i hear diff things about how this is not about samson and delilah and how it's about a woman in love with a man who's married. idk. i hear diff things but personally i think she's singing as if it's delilah telling her side of the story/throug her eyes since it was never in the bible? what do u guys think? i could be wrong

I really love Regina! Of most singers, i get bored after have heard the song like over 15 times. But i will never get bored of regina, she's timeless! The falling of the paper building at the end represents Samson's death. He felt he had nothing left, as a prisoner of the Philistines. They wanted "entertainment", so they tied Samson to a pillar and told him to try to pull the building down (he couldn't, because Delilah deceived him and had him cut his hair). He got angry and emotional, and asked God to kill him. So, down came the pillars, the building, the party guests, and Samson :(

It's a story from the bible. Regina is supposed to be speaking from Delilah's viewpoint: a woman who cut the hair of Samson. He fought for God's army and he was the best, his strength came from his hair. Delilah has always been believed to be evil...I've never heard it like a love story, but I guess it's possible.
