I saw the Grumbleweeds at the Bradford Allambrah in the 1980s. The little bald fella performed a joke that went: "I can do a convincing impression of an elephant." He then pulled out both of his pocket linings and begun to unzip his flies. The bearded bloke stepped in, stopped him doing it, and said "Hey cock. They don't want to see your cock". My mum and dad then got us out of the theatre. I must admit, it wasn't really a family friendly joke. I was only 10 lol.
whatever happened to the grumbleweeds? they used to be fucking terrible but could get on TV, not it seems they're still fucking terrible but can't get on TV anymore.
I vaguely remember that back in the 80s there was a programme on telly where they scientifcally compared his voice with the real thing & found that they were indeed almost identical!
i remember Robin doing the Jimmy Saville impression in the early 80's and to this day no one can touch him in being the best impression of Jimmy Saville out there...
