Hey I flying Aer Lingus, how long is the flight from ORD Chicago to Dublin. Im going in a few weeks but due to the time difference I cant really tell how long. My ticket says 18:50 Sat to 8:30 Sun. Your answer is most appreciated.

Ah the A330, what a plane. I took off from Shannon to Boston in one. They're an awful lot more rickety than A320s when landing, but it's all in the fun of flying
good old shannon.. nobody better close it down since i live 20 minutes away and only ahve to be tehre 45 minutes before the gates close... i cant be bothered going to dublin...
Normly it takes like a hour, not they dont use shannon anymore

@mmissthangg1 - drive from Shannon to Dublin? It would probably take somewhere around 3 1/2 hours.

why a330?
wizzair1313 1 year ago
why would an aircraft of that size only fly to shannon isnt that normally only an A319?
charlieiscool1000 1 year ago
@charlieiscool1000 aer lingus dont have any a319! its a a330 beacause it was stoping over at snn from the us or else continuing there from eidw!
HYPERUTILITY 1 year ago
@charlieiscool1000 It's a high demanded flight, many people fly that route so they use A330-200

Why use an A330 for a 30min hop from Shannon to Dublin. Was you continuing on to the States after Dublin ??
adama340 3 years ago
I was only flying SNN-DUB, but that A330 was off to ORD after Dublin

I've no idea sorry, i'd say about 7 hours? thats how much it is from ORD to Manchester, UK
elganthomas 2 years ago
@RickyRicardoJr It should take about 9.5 hours due to the headwind to get to dublin!

I gusse what really matters is passenger demand. I mean, this flight could of been full.

And you had an A330 to do Shannon - Dublin ? Damn, I only have tiny little BAE 146 each time I fly from Dublin to Paris with Air France :-(

the flaps look like there at a large angle

Flap 2 setting, normal for any takeoff
elganthomas 5 years ago
Jeez that was a hell of a climb. Probably not much fuel on board.
