The Quran did wonders for women of that time, as to how they could be treated by their male counterparts. Surra 9 is by far my favorite seeing as its the last one the "Prophet" wrote and happens to be the only that starts without "this is the word of Allah the compasionate the merciful" largely because the whole chapter is about laying siege for/killing infidels "wherever you find them". Maybe someone else needs to read the book or at the very least, read it again.

Muslims & non Muslims. Some but not all western authors have many biases against Islam. Some (but again not all) Muslim authors have many biases for Islam.

Surra 9 is by far my favorite seeing as its the last one the "Prophet" wrote and happens to be the only that starts without "this is the word of Allah the compasionate the merciful" largely because the whole chapter is about laying siege for/killing infidels "wherever you find them". Maybe someone else needs to read the book or at the very least, read it again.

In anycase, you wouldn't know which chapters supercede the others because you biasedly believe in the good Islam exclusively. Its mention in surra 2. The Quran isn't arranged chronologically but passages written later supercede earlier passages. In fact, he was driven forth by his and the other tribes who later attacked him but he managed to gather a following, push them back, the Mecca, and then refrain, (or supposedly did) from sacking the city and plundering and pillaging. Well those of us living in the House of War think that Islam is very violent. God or Allah (S.W.A) sent his last messenger and that was Muhammad (S.A.W). The prophet or the messengers asked the people to believe only in the one true God. During those times, people enjoyed the sinful things that they were doing, they worshiped different gods. Many people did not listen to the prophets. They wanted to continue doing sinful things, Prophets were also humans. Some of them had their families, too.
