The 10-9 system has no place in MMA, especially when it's not even scored sensibly like it is in sports like kickboxing and boxing, where a 10-8 isn't near impossible to get. If you drop someone, that should be a 10-8. Twice is 10-7. Not a 10-8 if you absolutely ass rape dominant a guy for 5 solid minutes.

Thanks for the vid BSL been a fan for years now. Couple things to mention. Have you seen the video of the die hard shogun fan watching the fight from his webcam? Agree on the draw, when buffer announced the first judges decision to Hendo I knew it was over. The consistent terrible judging has left me jaded on the whole thing and I expect incompetence now...
I believe that the 5th round was a 10-9 and I am a fan of both guys and Shogun is my second favorite fighter in the world after Fedor. But I feel that Shogun although he controlled the dominant position throughout the whole round he didnt do enough damage to Hendo and Hendo never looked in as much trouble as Shogun was in the 3rd. I agree with the Decision for Hendo 10-9 first 3 rounds and Shogun gets rounds 4 and 5 10-9.
And there's the fact that many, many, many of Hendo's "wins" are fraudulent wins, by bad or split decisions: e.g. the first Nog fight, the Newton fight, the Franklin fight, Busta II, Ninja. You bought into the hype BSL. You bought into the hype...
Hendo is an all-time great, but even the mere suggestion that he might be ranked higher than Ando Silva is laughable.
First of all, Hendo got bingo'd when he fought Silva. That alone is conclusive enough to end the matter. But besides Hendo simply does not have a better overall resume than Silva when you consider his losses (Misaki, Little Nog x 2, Arona, Shields) and the fact that he beat Fedor when he was on a two fight skid.
Wanderlei Silva vs Cung Le was an early stoppage but *probably* Wand would have won anyway.
By the way, Cung Le's nose has always been crooked to the side and has always looked like a Picasso painting. It was not Wand who made it look like that.

A 10-8 round went to Shogun in the fifth, that was domination and Dan didn't do a single thing that round.

The 10-9 system has no place in MMA, especially when it's not even scored sensibly like it is in sports like kickboxing and boxing, where a 10-8 isn't near impossible to get. If you drop someone, that should be a 10-8. Twice is 10-7. Not a 10-8 if you absolutely ass rape dominant a guy for 5 solid minutes.

Thanks for the vid BSL been a fan for years now. Couple things to mention. Have you seen the video of the die hard shogun fan watching the fight from his webcam? Agree on the draw, when buffer announced the first judges decision to Hendo I knew it was over. The consistent terrible judging has left me jaded on the whole thing and I expect incompetence now...

I believe that the 5th round was a 10-9 and I am a fan of both guys and Shogun is my second favorite fighter in the world after Fedor. But I feel that Shogun although he controlled the dominant position throughout the whole round he didnt do enough damage to Hendo and Hendo never looked in as much trouble as Shogun was in the 3rd. I agree with the Decision for Hendo 10-9 first 3 rounds and Shogun gets rounds 4 and 5 10-9.

Hendo is an all-time great, but even the mere suggestion that he might be ranked higher than Ando Silva is laughable.
First of all, Hendo got bingo'd when he fought Silva. That alone is conclusive enough to end the matter. But besides Hendo simply does not have a better overall resume than Silva when you consider his losses (Misaki, Little Nog x 2, Arona, Shields) and the fact that he beat Fedor when he was on a two fight skid.

It was a 10-9 because Shogun didn't just lay there, he almost grabbed a heel hook, he stood up, he took Hendo down, and he even landed some good strikes at the end of that round. Now if Hendo rocked Shogun and Shogun just laid there on his back for the rest of the round, then year a 10-8 for sure. But that didn't happen, so it was defiantly a 10-9. A 10-8 round went to Shogun in the fifth, that was domination and Dan didn't do a single thing that round.
