  • Nice Too Video

  • Good Video

  • The Top Comment Suggest That We Are Permitted To Use Vulgarities.

  • Really looking forward to this episode. if only one could keep away the BibleBelters and Jesus Morons. They are attracted like flies and leave uninformed comments revealing they don't even have the slightest hint what Science even is. STAY AWAY from SCIENCE.

  • this short clip goes along way in supporting my theory that time is tangible. I am anxious for the whole video.

  • Your videos are awesome

    Good vibes

  • Dark matter? Better bring a flash light xD

  • Now only if i was this interested in my school work i'd be a straight A nerd.

  • disgusting....why would u put up a preview when u know its a cocktease

  • my proff in my intro to astronomy class integrated this recent headline into his lecture on blackbody radiation. can't wait to see this video

  • time flying apart in all directions? how's that happen?

  • Do you guys have downloads of these videos, or ever thought about making blu-ray disks and selling them on your website or amazon? I'd buy it.

  • J pride

  • simply putted, : AWSOME !

  • I opt for the "fooling us" option. Both Dark Matter and Dark Energy are a bit too... precious to be more than a manifestation of ignorance. There are hints, like the differring rates of propogation for high and low energy Gamma rays from GRBs and other clues about the "granularity" of "space".

  • We love you SpaceRip!

  • Mo Peaz!

  • Stop making previews from now on and just surprise everyone by posting a new full episode. Like BAM! just shows up.

  • SpaceRip I LOVE YOU !!!!!!!!

  • When is this full version going to be on your channel?

  • The following verse of the Qur'an (sura 51, verse 47) where God is speaking, may perhaps be compared with modern ideas:

"The heaven, We have built it with power. Verily. We are expanding it." 'Heaven' is the translation of the word sama' and this is exactly the extra-terrestrial world that is meant. 'We are expanding it' is the translation of the plural present participle musi'una of the verb ausa'a meaning 'to make wider, more spacious, to extend, to expand'.

  • *mans

  • I love this man voice!

  • when will you upload the full video?

  • apart from my channel, this is my favourite channel on YouTube

  • God, please damn this channel. Too many people are gaining knowledge and are leaving the church. Please save all the sinners who has taketh thy's fruit from the tree of knowledge.

  • i had to stop having sex fore this >:( worth it >:(

  • This and Brian Greene's new NOVA special coming up soon! It's gonna be awesome!

  • This kind of thing is what makes Youtube worth it.

  • @lgalicki totally agree.

  • I want this guy to narrate my life.

  • please release this episode later

  • PLEASE RELEASE THIS ASAP

  • This will be bullshit.

  • What we call UNIVERSE is what we call on this planet GOD.

The UNIVERSE is the creation of everything,

and if you think just for a second..What is the creation of everything???

We aready discovered and found GOD but we still looking for it!

The God I am Talking about is nothing to do with religions...Goes beyond!!!

I Love The Infinity of our Universe

Thumbs Up if you agree with me!

  • Comment removed

  • @LucaModernTalking

no entity is infinite. perhaps it seems so, because of a closed loop system we live in.

  • @hanspanzer The way our universe work is infinite my friend...When do eventually we end up swalloed by a giant black hole, that strong and powerfull energie compressed will provoke another big bang and the Universe will regenerate again and again and again...where there is a biginning there is an end and when there is an end there is a biginning ...is something that will never stop...

And all of us are in between...

  • @LucaModernTalking I TOTALLY AGREE!!!

  • @LucaModernTalking

okay, you are talking about time and i'm talking about space.

well, i think too time is infinite, because there is actually no time that could be finite.

  • waiting for this video ... plz upload soon...

  • pls upload full episodes :( i hate sneek peeks like it makes me want to watch it NOW your vids r awsome!

  • BORING....naw I'm joking, looks crazy as always!!!

  • Please upload it already!!! I'm itching to watch this!!!

  • Can't wait!

  • i wonder, how can we detect and learn something moving faster then light?

  • @funkeety We did the other day

  • @p51spittinnails cool...

  • the guy did the voice for wart on record of lodoss war, was killing me to remmeber where i had heard him from

  • @ComeToJesus you embrace Jesus by stop spamming!..

  • Is it me, or do all those little galaxies remind you of Plankton?

  • What the hell is this? advertising?

  • Dark energy is so mysterious, that we may never discover/detect it, let alone study its properties :(

  • I WANT THE FULL FUCKING THING NOW !! Right FUCKING now.......

    Who's with me ??

  • @WILDLEGHORN Well, drop by and we'll show it to you. Or wait till next week sometime. Thanks!

  • @SpaceRip Any particular date ? :)

  • @SpaceRip BTW, I love you <3 seriously :p :p :p

  • @SpaceRip argh! can't wait

  • @SpaceRip nah keep it, but give me your property and your money.

  • @SpaceRip rop by? wat ya mean?

  • Oh, sensational <3

  • I'm ready to get mindraped. I want this new documentary NOW!!

    KKS

  • if you drop 10 balls on the moon at different times, one after the other, every one will see the others as red shifted. maybe we are all falling toward the same things or every galaxy is spinning around the same thing faster and faster the same as the stuff around black holes does. everything else in the universe that we know about spins around something.

  • Cmoon... I can't wait just publish it already!!! I'm anxious to see this!

  • Mmmmm another mindfuck is coming my way :D

  • amazing!!!!

  • 200 video special :D

  • Comment removed

  • Can't wait! When is it due?

  • If we could stand outside the universe and see the whole universe at once, how would all matter accelerating away from each other differ from all matter staying very much still but shrinking. We would observe the same thing. I don't believe galaxies are flying away from eachother at accelerating speed, i believe mass is decaying, thus shrinking all matter at accelerating speed. Us being made from matter hinders our ability to observe this.

  • @Jokker88 How does that work with galactic red shifting?

  • @Mandragara If matter was more massive in the past, in relation to the fabric of space-time, in which light is a wave. It could potentially have emitted Longer wavelength light. What we would consider red shifted. While Blue shifted galaxies might be further down the rabbit hole, not necessarily moving towards us. Another possibility is that what we perceive as expansion of space, is space-time geometry seeping out of matter. Potentially explaining matter as complicated space-time geometry.

  • @Jokker88 very interesting first sentence ...I agree both conditions would probably appear the same ...and the concept of galaxies flying away from each other at accelerating speed is rather farfetched in view of the fact that there is zero evidence to even the possibility of matter 'flying away ... at accelerating speed' ...there is, on the other hand, measurable evidence to the possibility of matter shrinking both slowly and quickly ...indeed all matter shrinks naturally

    thanks for sharing

  • @Jokker88 I ran out of character space ...as to 'flying' ...by definition the word implies purposeful application (at some point) of some sort of 'energy/propulsion' to matter ...and 'accelerating speed' I find this an odd term at best ...and using it in terms of scientific description of condition of matter is marketing speculation since the only way 'accelerating speed' can be achieved is by design

thanks again for making time to share your perspective ...it afforded much food for 'thought'

  • Oh cool it's going to be awesome.

  • Sad b this channel is fast runiing out of new material. This information is like 5 to ten years old for fuck sake.

  • @MicrosoftsourceCode

Correct me if i am wrong, people have know in long time that the universe expanded, but people thought that, the universe did expand in a constantly speed, or with a speed which was going slower and slower.. Now those physicers found out that the universe did expand faster and faster.. here in 2011, and thats why they won the Noble Prize In Physic.

  • @StylerMici It's 2011 already? Man I got to stop taking them time capsules. Them's making time expand too.

  • @MicrosoftsourceCode

What u mean? Forget what i said about 2011, They found out the universe expand with an speed which go faster and faster.. some physicers and they got the 2011 nobel prize in physic.

  • @StylerMici You need to learn to read and write properly. My last comment was a play on words. If you don't understand the difference between facts and a joke then how the fuck do you expect to understand the workings of the universe. When you say, "They found out the universe expand". Who the fuck are they? Noble peace prize don't mean shit if your still fighting a war that you can never win or have information that is of no use to 99% of the world. TWAT

  • @MicrosoftsourceCode

    Calm down dude lol.

They are:"Saul Perlmutter, Brian P. Schmidt, Adam G. Riess."

  • @StylerMici I don't know where to start...

  • @MicrosoftsourceCode

did they found out in 2011*

  • Is this going to be uploaded here?

  • I am most certainly taking up astrophysics in 4 years time despite everyone telling me there is little job for that

  • @sbs2798uu Me too, but it's gonna be a bit over 4 years for me :D

  • I love this channel.

  • @gatorhighlights4 NO iluuuuuvvvvvvvvvthischannel

  • Wow the more i watch spacerip videos, the more i learn about universe, the more i feel so tiny, the more i know nothing, the more i become so stupid, the more i eager to know more, the more i watch spacerip videos... thx spacerip, for making me stays hungry and stay foolish... :)... I can't wait to watch this full version video..!!!

  • @funkeety It's beautiful though isn't it? :D

  • wait, wasn't this discovery already made in like 1998........

  • love all your videos.....the best.

  • Yeah!, it's coming near.

  • Comment removed

  • @Deecimal Why does nobelprize org not agree with you?

"for the discovery of the accelerating expansion of the Universe through observations of distant supernovae"

  • Dear SpaceRip: Thank you

  • Man, I'm pumped. Can't wait!!!!

  • @Falcrist Dark matter and dark energy aren't even hypothesies, astrophysicists freely admit that they're just words to hold a place. If it's anyone's fault, it's the people who hear about it. For example, another word for dark energy is quintessence.

  • i got a chubby from this video

  • Next week, why you no come now! I can't wait :D

  • 25mins! yyeeaaaa cant wait!!!

  • Dark Energy? sounds like my kind of documentry! XD

  • I just read this in the news a day ago! THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!

  • How appropriated that the 200th video be another episode.

I remember Tdarnell telling us about working with the nobel prize winner.

    This should be interesting.

  • its steve jobs' dent in the universe...

  • I can't wait!!!!!!

  • Nature isn't fooling us. We're just really stupid...

  • whats the matter they discovered thats faster than the speed of light?

  • @IcoVir Some kind of neutrinos. But this result is not verified - So I wouldn't say they were actually faster than light. Probability it's going to be proven wrong is quite high.

  • @Pferdekopfnebel thanks, i wonder if they would make a video on that. would be cool.

  • @Pferdekopfnebel They said they tested it about 11,000 times. But I guess the other people still need to verify it to give it the ok... Who might these people be? Do you know?

  • @TRYCLOPS1 Yes, but with the same test set-up. Of course they did the best they could but checking the spelling of a text you've written yourself can also be quite unsuccessful. Just let someone else look over it.

Who that could be I don't know.

  • @Pferdekopfnebel Exactly. Hope they do it asap.

  • @IcoVir They accelerated them faster than the speed of light in a particle accelerator, I don't think that they're naturally faster actually, My geology teacher was talking about it recently though..Not sure of the whole story

  • I'll be watching with my life-size poster of Dick Rodstein!!!

  • SpaceRip, why you always make us wait for the full video.

    Stop teasing!

  • amazing , looking forward to the full episode

  • So what happened to the little neutrino that went back in time for 60 nanoseconds (I believe...)? Will Einstein's theories be taken out of the picture?

  • thumbnail looked like the bat symbol

  • @HKasian Holy Jim Jam in a Toenail Slot Batman!

  • Can't wait :) keep up the grand work!

  • @Surfxeo a great contradiction indeed! However, a great deal of people believe we are an animal!

I do not... Expand your mind dear sir, maybe then you will understand.

  • Well, this gave me a boner. Oh sorry I mean a governor Bonner

  • awesome

  • What we call 'reality' is just a sliver of a as yet undiscovered and unrealized whole. We still dont know SHIT.

  • Dark Flow yippy.. I love dark material =D

  • It's a TRAP!

  • omg so awesome!

  • @garuga0777 indeed that would be good!

  • Nature however never fools, nature just is and maybe if we got back in touch with our basic instincts we would understand her...

  • @MsSpaceCake I don't think that would work. Animals work by instinct all the time and they know nothing of the universe. It is man's mind that has unlocked our understanding of the universe.

  • do longer videos generally bring in a bigger crowd?

  • way too cool!!

  • There are untold aspects we as a race do not understand about our wonderful Universe... And yes, dark energy is but one of those...

  • lets hope for some 60mins video in the future :)

  • 0:17 That theory was proposed years ago!

  • Maybe it's a void that surrounds the universe that it tearing it apart. Like a bubble of air in a vacuum.

  • I'm not sure about this dark energy....

  • @tubester4567 I'm with you. Science is supposed to work by finding observational evidence before you can even come up with a theory to explain it. That is were modern science has lost its credibility. It is assumption built on assumption. You can explain the universe simpler by removing black holes, dark matter, dark energy, inflation and so on.

  • All because of you space rip i want my career to do something with science.

  • What do you think about the neutrinos travelling faster than light?

  • Oh you little tease SpaceRip.

  • Get ready, brain...

    ... You gon' get raped.

  • @Storage1129 hahaha

  • cool=)

  • Thank you SpaceRip!

  • Awesome, can't wait. Thanks :)

  • dark energy sounds jizz worthy...

  • MsWanderer is correct, but quite obnoxious about it. Dark energy is called that because we don't know where or what it is.

Same thing with dark matter. It's a hypothesis used to fill a gap in our knowledge. It's just widely accepted at the moment.

On the other hand, this doesn't mean there can't be a video about dark matter and dark energy.

  • @Falcrist

  • i thing i just came .)

  • Oh hells yes! Just had a nerd gasm...

  • You people are brilliant.

  • nice :)

  • OHH, so these are YOUR productions? I always thought it was from BBC or History Channel or some other famous network! THATS AWESOME!! GOOD JOB!!

  • Finally something :)

  • "Dark energy"? Until scientists actually know what causes gravity this kind of mumbo jumbo is just as bad as the old god did it religious mumbo jumbo! They showed time and space are flying apart? What kind of hyped up horse shit is that? The data and the experiment are excellent but their interpretation put forth here is pure crap!

  • @MsWanderer1 You have no clue what your talking about, so you shouldn't comment at all, good or bad even.

  • @TheEldonan Until you are intelligent enough to have a clue to what I'm talking about you shouldn't be making comments of what I've said. You are referred to as a STUDENT for good reason; you're still too ignorant to know HOW to think so you're still regurgitating what you've been TOLD to think.

    Have a nice day JAFI..!..

  • @MsWanderer1 You are probaly the most ignorant person I have ever seen on one of these videos.

  • @Tundragrass What video did you see me in? You're far too young to know me JAFI so how did you recognize me?.

If you want to see real ignorance then go look in a mirror! :-)

  • @MsWanderer1 Your comment on Mysteries of a Dark Universe by Spacerip was so ignorant

  • @MsWanderer1 They know more about everything than you know about anything. Evidently.

  • @Topmercs NO; THEY DON'T..!..

    Have a nice day JAFI.

  • @Topmercs If you're referring to the term JAFI it's derived from an acronym used in the movie "Blue Thunder" which was "JAFO". It has nothing to do with any afroasiatic languages or Jewish cultures.

Have a nice day JAFI..!.. You've proven it true.
