  • You compare "free sex" to drinking and driving? You have to be kidding me. Sex is not a danger unless one is being dangerous either by their methods and frequency (of having sex) or by becoming impaired by... ALCOHOL or OTHER DRUGS so as not to be able to make good decisions. Drunk driving is always dangerous to everyone around since the impaired driver is operating a few thousand pounds of vehicle on open roadways. Fucking someone with A-Z STDs will not infect their entire neighborhood... idiot

  • Read the 4th amendment. No search or seizure without probable cause and only then if there is cause can a warrant be issued. If nobody has harmed anyone then leave them alone! If harm does come then we do something about it. The money these states collect from ordinary people is unbeleivable. And what do they do with it? Does anyone know? Its all corrupt.

  • These checkpoints and efforts of the-like have deterred a LOT of drunk driving. This kind of thing has effected some bar-business too, illustrating clearly that people refuse to control themselves i.e. don't go out and drink moderately and thus behave responsibly because they apparently are incapable. I see it EVERY week. Drunk-driving is not a small problem and "they" wouldn't make ANY money on it if people would STOP BEING IRRESPONSIBLE, SOCIOPATHIC FUCKING ASSHOLES. Cheers to law enforcement.

  • @ProGayAgenda I think if you are going to suggest people stop drinking and driving then you need to also say no more free sex as that DOES kill people. Don't yah think?

  • Daniel just wants to be able to drive drunk without getting nabbed. That's all he's upset about. I heard he's an alcoholic, as well as a pedophile.

  • Waste of tax payers money - trying to save a life by removing a drunk asshole off the road.

You should know about wasting things - like your time on crap like this. You are pathetic.

  • BOOHOOO, stop driving while drunk, and this wouldn't happen. Would a drunk driver slamming into your family and killing all of them be better for you? Besides, greens better anyways.

  • man fuck all ya'll lompoc is great

  • @AmericanPowerBase I agree 100%.

  • Everybody stfu... this country is fucked up, nuff said.

  • This is a jokke? Half of these police are donating their time? In fact I know three people standing in the camera shots in the first minuet, and family freinds with almost half the force, GET A LIFE! Why caue problems for people that are working to help solve them. Remember this the next time that one guy decides to rob a bank and he runs past you and bam takes a shot at you and then the police show up, wont be given them shit then will ya?

  • @MrTitleist92 lol.. the next time i guy robs a bank and shoots at you? does this happen on an everyday basis where you live?

  • @Seannyskillz Fuckin Lompoc, one of the probably worst towns in california. Where the best store in town is albertsons and banks are rob with a guy on a bike and gets away. Where theres not pot holes theres craters in the orad. Where do you think?! And it doesnt happen on a day to day basis it happens hourly so get over it

  • @AmericanPowerBase READ the 4th amendment... Are you a screwball troll?

  • I'm fighting like hell for the halt of these checkpoints nationwide....at last count, 11 states do not do checkpoints. 30 years ago very few did checkpoints. Its all this progressive crap of the past 30 years that has gotten totally out of control. And it will get worse if we do not start paying attention to who is creating these problems. Courts are corrupt, too. Driving, btw, is a right and not a privilege. But people have been brainwashed. Read the 4th amendment.

  • @Marksnotebook btw...over 4000 illegals drove drunk in 2009 stats and killed sombody or crashed into civilian cars....note that only about 11,000 people died from drunk drivers in 2009....illegals are being allowed in our country by democrats and liberals but are killing people off on the highways since they cannot read English! Yet these same democrats are after citizens at checkpoints and on the roads.YOU talk about hipocrasy! And warning..YOU republicans are not without guilt either!

  • @Marksnotebook illegals from mexico came here originally because our government controls the price of corn.

They made corn so inexpensive that one can buy it cheaper than it costs to make it. Since these illegals grew corn and could not compete w/our prices even in their own country, they began coming here to compete w/ us in our job market.

  • @lalunanoir10 You are a moron or just plain stupid.

  • Comment removed

  • holy cow how many does it take to do a checkpoint .....no wonder the USA is bankrupt.

  • @916deez youre fucking retarted.... you think the usa is bankrupt because of this? how about the wars and all the places we are randomly sending are troops.. how about the shit economy, get the fuck out of here

  • @AIRSOFTINGisAMAZING first of all yeah i actually do think this is one reason we are bankrupt. Police overtime pensions and liabilities is a big expense to states I dont remember in my statement saying we should be in wars or that the economy would be great without these checkpoints but I am not the retarted one if you think these may not be one cause and as far as the economics goes Im afraid you might be out of your league Go back to shooting airsoft let us big boys play with the real guns :P

  • @916deez no no no no no no no

  • @AIRSOFTINGisAMAZING oh you think it only the wars oh ok cant be both right LOL your the fucking retarted one the economy is based on more than one thing genius.

  • @916deez so you're the genius that doesnt know the difference between your and you're? hah, funny child

  • @AIRSOFTINGisAMAZING LOL your the real genius you dont know tyrany from freedom or the constitution from corruption .....enjoy the heard sheep

  • @916deez

Actually, there is no evidence that these checkpoints contribute to our debt. That's actually a really dumb thing to say, because our debt has NOTHING to do with paying police or other civil servants. And even if it DID - I'm happy to spend money on keeping drunk lunatics off the street.

  • @stickydog480 actually there is evidence overtime for officers is at an all time high the fed gov gives local gov billions and every gov worker takes away the tax base to pay for all the other gov workers its simple math 9 private workers pay for 1 gov worker is more tax money than 8 private workers paying for 2 gov workers ---the 2 gov workers paying tax to themselves does nothing to increase the base it just decreases the base. Its like you paying your kids an allowance to pay for your house

  • @stickydog480 just because you are above the legal limit does not make you a lunatic and these checkpoints are illegal under the constitution ....dont get me wrong i dont want drunks on the road either but i certainly dont want to destroy our constitution to get a few people that drink and drive off the road. We lose our right in small bits ...then the next thing you know you have tsa on the road may i see your papers please Dont you notice the police are becoming more like military. Youll see!

  • @916deez

Random DUI checkpoints on the weekends is not "Destroying the Constitution". You are probably a nutjob. Thanks for wanting drunks out there on the roads. Appreciate it. You can shut up with the "You'll see" BS. People like you have been saying that for decades. You're just paranoid weirdos with nothing better to do. Period. If you actually had lives, careers, of families, you wouldn't be such wastes of people. Seriously, who complaints about a DUI checkpoint besides a drunk?

  • @stickydog480 yes actually it is destroying the constitution why because its un constitutional and your logic of me wanting drunks on the road well is frankly crazy. LOL and I dont even drink so that logic is out also. Maybe if you knew about history instead of being so self centered you might have a more intelligent conversation. respect you constitution If you dont stand up for your rights you will loose them the soldiers fought for you honor them by doing your parts since you did not serve

  • @916deez

Actually, I just got back from doing 4 years in The Army. I was in Afghanistan for 27 months. Maybe you should shut the fuck up now, cause you look like an idiot.

  • @916deez

Constitution is still intact. So you can stop that argument. It's a dumb metaphor. You just wanna drive drunk, sick fuck.

  • Its going to get worse and I'm so sick of this bullshit when they try to say its safety and we all know better. They make a fortune off all this crap. 4th amendment...go read it.

  • @Marksnotebook

Of course its safety you moron. It's about keeping drunk pieces of shit off the road.

  • @stickydog480 Read the 4th amendment.

  • Notice : when you encounter something during your day that is as questionable as this you must challenge. When in doubt, challenge! Say it again after me ; When in doubt, challenge! Good, commit that one to long term memory boys and girls..

  • ONLY IN AMERICA YOU SEE THESE KIND OF BULL SHIT CHECK POINTS>

    W.T.F.

  • @TheWicho46

We are the land of the free, we have freedoms unlike other countries. At least that is what we are taught and brainwashed into believing, you see I don't drink, let alone drink and drive. why do I have to deal with these over paid idiots harassing me at a check point? Why don't they hang out at a bar and really bust people leaving and driving after a night of partying? why? becuase then the roads would be safe and sadly they would not have a job!

  • Well you know, besides North Korea

  • calm down tough guy!

  • this is a tactic to get people scared into not drinking and driving.. and i appreicate the cops for doing this... out of all these dozens of people that r stopped.. chances r there is 1 drunk those 12. and most lilkly that 1 drunk could have crashed into me while driving home wit my daughter.. love the police

  • Fuck the Police.

  • Who is filming this the cops or a citizen?

  • @merkyaleez59 Nazi Germany? Get a life.

  • @Nolia12 Umadbro? Welcome to the Fourth Reich.

  • IF YOUR NOT DRUNK WHY WORRY????? ANSWER THAT!

  • @mrburns1969 BECAUSE I HAVE TO FUCKING PAY FOR THIS BULLSHIT WHILE MY FUCKING COUNTRY PILES ON THE FUCKING DEBT TO PAY THESE FUCKING STATE WORKERS OVERTIME. THESE CHECKPOINTS DONT DO SHIT EXCEPT WASTE TIME AND MONEY. 2% OF THE DUI ARREST COME FROM THESE CHECKPOINTS. SEND MORE PATROLS OUT. MAYBE COPS WILL RESPOND TO A FUCKING 911 CALL QUICKER IF THERE WAS!!!!

  • @mrburns1969 why let your rights dissapear? its people like you that lets those things happen, your the cops' bitch dont ask any questions just do what the big man tells you to right?

  • I thought this was pretty common in most countries...?

Here in Japan I was once stopped at a checkpoint manned by 8 cops at the end of what was essentially a dead end street, and had almost 30 mins of my time wasted while they laboriously guided a rookie through the procedure. It was taking so long that I got off my bike and laid down beside the road and would probably have gone to sleep if the weather was warmer.

  • what a total waste of your time.....

  • look at the waste of tax payer money

  • Sadly enough, I've wasted about 20 minutes of my time looking at your video's. Basically you've proven you have no respect for anyone who enforces laws. It is disturbing to think anyone would think this is wrong. Go to Somalia, there are no laws. Do what you please, and say cheese to camera when some pirates will hold you hostage and send your picture to America.

  • @USAFFuturePilot Sadly enough you have no idea what freedom is and what its worth, a police officer can not stop someone without probable cause of a crime being committed or about to be, one is not required to show a police officer his "papers" (Nazi Germany) just because hes asked, unless its a legal stop. So before you go off at true patriots who keep the police in check, for braking the law they swear to protect take a little course on constitutional law yourself

  • @avi614614 Freedom is something imaginery. It really doesn't, for good reason, exsist. If freedom exsisted, then people could do anything they wanted to. There will always be limits, there will always be problems that need laws to stop them. Also, IFRC these check-points are for catching drunk drivers. Also, what is the big deal about being stopped. If you've done nothing wrong, then there is nothing to worry about. BTW, comparing America to Nazi Germany is way too extreme.

  • @USAFFuturePilot It seems that using the obligatory 'Nazi' or 'Gestapo' is a way to end all logical debate. Also interesting how because someone disagrees with you, they are all too eager to write things like "...you have no idea what freedom is". All seems to be one extreme or the other, no common ground...Hmm...Anyway,I agree completely with your comments.

  • @greenjeansmjr Thank you. there is atleast one sane person here.

  • This is BULLSHIT...

  • Here is a tip on checkpoints: YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO THROUGH THEM

At every checkpoint there will be a clearly posted sign, and the right at that sign will be one chance for you to make a legal right turn and avoid the checkpoint. Now keep in mind the place to turn will be right near the sign giving you almost no time to react to it, AND there will be a cop on a motorcycle there to intimidate you from making that turn, Just be sure you signal first and don't mess up; I do it all the time

  • looks like zionist america

  • so what

  • I wonder if you stood about 3 blocks away with a sign "General Crime Checkpoint Ahead" if they would be stupid enough to arrest you. Reason being, they'd have to admit it was a general crime checkpoint, which are illegal.

  • I guess to people like the video author, it doesn't matter what the police does, everything will just be wrong no matter what.

  • @quackn '.. What a waste of taxpayer's money ..'

Actually, these checkpoints are quite effective from both a cost and enforcement standpoint, which is exactly why police keep doing them. I have yet to see them not catch at least a few drunk drivers, and occasionally more serious offenders. At the same time, officers are not wasting expensive fuel driving around, but instead waiting patiently for the offenders to come to them.

  • the are making alot of money out of this stupid check points if they take ur car fro driving with out a lisence you have to pay $1000 to get it out! plus the fines. They go from $500 up to $1500

  • What a waste of time this video is...quackn...you're that antipolice guy posting on here just looking to make police look bad by twisting crap around. Dont you have anything better to do? You are pathetic in these attempts and you are just looking for a way to get back at the police for getting caught doing something stupid. Get a life. The only ones you get on your side are the small percentage of misfits in society.

  • @AmorSabor88 You are one of the Majority of those blind fucking sheeps who are def, dumb and blind to see whats happening to our police and how they are being used against us. to protect and serve? really?

  • If you feel riding around finding drunks is a better way, why don't you and your buddy Hobert do something good for once and give back to your community rather than claim the gov't is out to getcha.. jus my $.02

  • @Mkrip808

Its dumb asses like who that over think everything. everyone and there mother KNOWS that these check pointss are right and DO infact catch drunk drivers. everyone who is complaining are just trying to find something to bitch about. get a fuckin life. if you dont like how america does things move your ass some one else. as simple as that

  • @piru22 i think they should be illegal. I didnt break the law, why am I being stopped? Why am I being asked for my papers? Sounds like a constitutional violation, cant figure why its been upheld. Id turn around and avoid it

  • @piru22 They might catch drunk drivers but the majority of the citations and arrests are for registration and ID "crimes" and this is what they are set up for...under the guise of "keeping the public safe". They are for generating revenue and nothing more.

  • If you google the news story "DUI california checkpoints raise questions" you will see that Los Angeles county made 60 MILLION DOLLARS PROFIT off of checkpoints. Then they SPLIT THE MONEY WITH TOW TRUCK COMPANIES. Its a very long and good news article. They make a lot of money doing this and its not about keeping us safe. Soon we'll have a checkpoint to go to the moives or the mall or the gym. Just wait for 4th of July 2010!! CELEBRATE "FREEDOM" with TYRANNY CHECKPOINTS!

  • yes, what a waste---catching drunk drivers and felons! OH the HUMANITY!!

  • @TheCullenbranch they can do random house searches too without warrant, better hide your bud, or whatever else.

  • @samala5793 it just sounds to me like a bunch of tree huggers bitching. why dnt u shut the fuck up and let them do there damn jobs if u dnt like what the police in the country do or the govt or military get the fuck out simple as that

  • @piru22 You would have made a perfect Tory back in 1776

  • They mostly arrest or ticket for license, registration, etc. Its more "prove you're not guilty". They should have ALL of those cops on the street and not harassing people.

  • How is this a waste of tax payers money if there trying to save lives by stoping drunk drivers. your a waste of a life by bitching. i hope your ass gets hit by a drunk driver one day i bet u would wish the DUI checkpoint would have been there to stop him.

  • @piru22 Maybe they could catch those drunk drivers if they were out on the road observing how people drive rather than standing around asking for papers. A drunk driver can easily avoid one of these checkpoints...where I live they announce where the checkpoints are going to be...the day before and the day of.

  • @piru22 maybe they should just kick in everyone's door at any random time and check all their DvDs, VHS tapes and computer hard drives. Just think of all the child pornagraphy arrests they could make. Who could argue with that? Hopefully, since you hate the 4th amendmant so much, they could kick your door in once a week. At least it will make children safer, right>

  • really? a waste of money?? are you stupid? these checkpoints do in fact help with catching drunk drivers and unlicensed/ uninsured drivers... how much do you think a life is worth if one of those drunk drivers hit and killed someone you love??? your videos are lame.

  • @chrisgsxr600 they write thousands of tickets for other things for every dui they get.

If its a dui checkpoint why are they writing tickets for other things? You are being stopped without having commited a crime.

That in itself is a crime. Im not a criminal, I shouldnt be stopped.

  • @YllwFvrPB the fact that it is a DUI checkpoint doesnt limit the officers to only citing for DUIs, they wont to turn a blind eye to other violations. thats foolish to think that.It .cities announce a checkpoint days before they happen, entrapment isnt an issue.they dont stop you because you look like "criminal" they make stops systematically.example, every 7th vehicle will be stopped. or every vehicle.so "that in itself" isnt a crime. did you do any research before posting?

  • @chrisgsxr600 so stopping me to check for criminal activity without suspicion that a criminal activity has taken place isnt a crime? Next they will stop random people on the street...

  • @chrisgsxr600 i guess they do it differently there, here they stop every car heading in either direction. They even do seatbelt stops, even though its a secondary offense, meaning they cant pull you over if they see you without it

  • This is a clear violation of U.S. Citizen rights. These checkpoints do not catch alot of drunk drivers. Furthermore, what U.S.court or judge gives them the right to stop ordinary citizens without probable cause. A waste of man power as well. This is the exact thing thats happens in socialist states and communist countries.

  • DUI checkpoints are important to keep dangerous drivers off the road. Drunk drivers kill people. DUI checkpoints don't. They're not guilty until proven innocent. They're simply all being screened.

  • Why would you waste your time tapeing a check point..

  • I would rather My tax dollars go to a large number of police doing checkpoints to hopefully get D.D.'s of the road than to pay for some useless fuck geting drunk and killing someone or themselves causeing even more money into investigations and court costs and me having to see victims familys on tv crying...but I guess that hasn't crossed anyones mind yet hmmm well all you who don't like this I would like to see it when its yours getting killed by a D.D. I bet you change your song!

  • they are all making $45 an hour on overtime because this is all about money not safety cause they all went to the bar themselves after this!

  • Here in Ireland they do random breath tests at MAT (mandatory alcohol testing) checkpoints. 2-3 cars and 6 Gardaí (police) will systematically breathalise a number or indeed all drivers passing through.

Deters people fairl well as it's fairly common to see checkpoints here and nobody I know would dare drink and drive any more (and most wouldnt anyway).

  • i think check points are good. more of a deterent than anything else. if they even get one dui, that's great. but this sorry display, discusses me. did the really need that many officers, seriously?

  • What is the pay these days to stand around all night with your hands in your pockets?

No wonder California is writing IOUs.

  • I'm sure the IOUs have nothing to do with the huge amounts of people being enabled to sit at home and collect goverment benifeits.

  • Good ole' communism and tyranny at work. It's nice to see these aspiring LAPD officers broaden their horizons.

  • Dip wad these are not LAPD officers. Your about 125 miles too far north if you look at the side of the police car you can read where this happened. Get your facts straight before you add your comments. I'd love to have you as a witness in a court of law.

  • Hey copper, I said "aspiring" which means: to long, aim, or seek ambitiously; be eagerly desirous, esp. for something great or of high value. Pick up a dictionary and drop the penal code book.

  • Tax-payer money at work, good job. How many illegals and drunk drivers were taken off the street that day? People with warrants and possible fugitives beware.

  • The SAD thing is.....THESE PIGS DO NOT REALIZE they are SS officers...

  • now thats scary..... i hope that was nazi germany because if thats in the U.S.A we are in alot of trouble. time to wake up people

  • Ordinarily, the police here don't arrest any drunk drivers at these checkpoints. One or two officers on roving patrols will catch more drunk drivers than all of these officers will. These police need to be out looking for drunk drivers, not doing the "may we see your papers please" thing.

  • @quackn when a drunk hits you one of your family members and their face has been smeared across the asphalt like a fucking piece of chalk maybe you'll quit complaining you whiny sob
