  • I'll let you smoke next to me in a restaurant if you let me pass gas when we are in the same elevator.

  • NO SMOKING IN RESTAURANTS!!! Do you smoke at the dinner table?

  • YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!

  • it's just this simple i have to breath you don't have to smoke, smoking is a personal choice of very stupid people there is no stupid rant that you could come up with that will ever make you right.you are like all selfish people who only think about your self.it makes me very sad.suck a dick not a cigarette!

  • Well I don't understand smokers lol I don't hate them I just don't understand why you would burn your life ?! You burn 12 minutes of you'r life at every cigarette you smoke and cigarettes are full of shitty things ... I really don't understand... Very smart people that make stupid choices...

  • @thlove205 "you burn 12 minutes of your life" - stop making idiotic and bogus 'facts'.

Show me a ONE study with such conclusion. Just one study.

You can thank me later, once you realize how misinformed you were.

  • if this is a free country, why are 90% of our laws stupid, pointless, and do nothing but aggrivate people? When it's the end of the world, the goverment dosnt matter. rules arnt real.

  • #2 that is why I refuse to fly, they could for almost nothing install fresh air circulators in planes. Obviously businesses that don't support smokers don't want our business. So I avoid them al as much as possible. Even when I quit I will stand for smokers rights. Freedom is what they really want to stop, not smoking.

  • it's a lie! second hand smoke doesn't harm anyone (unless alergic). In the 40's-60's everyone smoked if secondhand smoke would have been harmful the species would have died out. It's all about teaching us to be under controll to yeild to the new facists. As far as cancer, EVERYTHING causes cancer. Name anything and you can find a study that shows it causes cancer. Even breathing causes cancer. Everythime your breath (clean regular air) you take in free radicals that, you guessed it, cause cancer.

  • Ugh! Cigarette Nazis! It's really all about money and control, isn't it?

  • Freedom !

  • If you don't like what the EPA had to say, you might want to read the Center of Disease Control (CDC). They say the exact same thing. Lung Cancer is the leader of all cancers and are caused by smoking and the EPA and CDC is right. Secondhand smoke causes lung cancer as well. Smokers are killing themselves and other people whether you want to believe it or not. Smoking should be banned anywhere and everywhere for the sake of life, period.

  • You can all think what you want, say what you want. Smoking it on the way out of public places. You do not need a study to tell you that smoking is bad for anyone's health. Second hand or not. All I hear is a lot of self rightous non smokers and head in the sand smokers trying to support a side. The best thing that could happen for everyone is that smoking is not allowed in public and it declines. To say that second hand smoke is harmless is reckless and ignorant. and I am pro smoking.

  • @GothicWiccan13 No, I presumed your age based on your channel information.

  • @GothicWiccan13 I assumed your age was 20, not 13. It's your parents place to explain blood for oil to you if they wish. I have 4 daughters & a 5th grandchild on the way. My experience tells me your parents would object to you learning the true meaning of blood for oil from me. It's a topic that I'm passionate about & I couldn't present an unbiased picture for you without being too graphic for your age. Google Prayer of Serenity. It's more of a motto than a prayer, & a very good motto.

  • @GothicWiccan13 Apologies for the "blood for oil" comment as it has no place in this blog. Don't feel as if you are the only person fighting for the innocents' rights. We just have different battlefields, different pet peeves if you will. The "about me" section of my channel touches on this, my outrage at the entire corrupt system. Kudos to you for sticking to 1 fight (smoking) as you have a chance of winning or making a difference. I'm not smart enough to choose my battles as wisely as you.

  • @GothicWiccan13 Why would you want to go to that particular bowling alley? It would be full of sadistic/masochistic people smoking each other to death, certainly not an environment you would enjoy.

I want to eat a grilled cheese sandwich aboard the Int Space Station. Should the ISS be forced to permit me? A million people want a sandwich on the ISS. Who gets to go first? What method of segregation would you suggest? Wealth, race, sex, height?

Drive your car today? U condone blood for oil?

  • @GothicWiccan13 I concede your point on the horrors of tobacco use. I think you mean well, but save those lectures on how I should live my life. The point of this vid concerns the legislation of health. Don't feel segregated, just feel forewarned and if you don't want to be around tobacco, then don't go bowling there. You trying to force your personal views/beliefs on others' won't fly. What's next? It's much more sanitary to be circumcised so let's force that on every man?

  • @GothicWiccan13

Eating a burger will plug your arteries causing you to kill innocents when you have a heart attack while driving. I pay for my own medical care. If you don't want to assist, then become a conscientious objector & quit paying taxes (dunno about UK, but this is done in US). The smoking issue is NOT FAIR. LIFE is NOT FAIR. Tell the arab kids with their limbs blown off that you're sorry but you had to maim them to put carcinogen-laced crap in your car to pollute the world. NO JUSTICE

  • @GothicWiccan13

"the problem would still be there." So what's next when you outlaw smoking entirely? Coffee, doughnuts, booze, bacon, ham, McDonalds, steak, butter, margarine, cookies, cake, & 8,000 other things that plug arteries leading to stroke & heart attack, etc? You need to outlaw anything that makes 600 pound Joe a danger of dying at the wrong time & broadsiding a schoolbus?

Use some of your outrage at what is being forced on us - fluoride, HFCS, BGH, etc

Our kids get bottled water with>

  • >"added fluoride" right there on the damn label. You cherrypick smoking now & I agree it's BAD. However you can't legislate health or morality in any effective way. To do so takes away our individuality because there will ALWAYS be something else needs to be done away with. We have free will, for better or worse. We should use our energy on something more dangerous than smoking though. That's TPTB & their malicious ways. Yes, I'm talking about fluoride & HFCS...do you drink water?

  • @GothicWiccan13

I understand your valid points and I am not offended. My point was to turn an establishment (bowling alley) into a PRIVATE establishment that allows smoking. Go stand at a bus stop (public) & take a breath. Have a drink of fluoridated water, some GMO food, some HFCS sweetener. It's not selfishness, it's the system. Tolerate what you will, and boycott the rest. Legislate health...pop, bacon, red meat, fluoride, cigs, vaccinations, cars, cellphones, etc

    The system sux. Respectfully

  • Totaly agree it should be up to the buisness owner its dumb if someone who dose not like smoking then dont go to that food place or that shop or also like movies and tv and video games should be allowed to show what they want if you don't like that show or movie then dont fucking go watch it. Totaly defending our borders is alot better then some dude smoking.

  • How do we tell the difference between secondhand smoke and firsthand pollution? The thing is both are mixing at all times. One smoke, can’t say to the other, stay in that corner and come no closer to me or I’ll kick your ass! So since air pollution from smoke of an exhaust of a car or fire can also cause cancer then why is just the cigarette targeted? Let’s get rid of those nasty cars and campfires and everything that causes smoke so we’ll all live forever!

  • when you start smoking it is disgusting, it makes you cough and dizzy and even vomit.. So why smoke ?

  • @idleswine because it has health benefits.

  • Your rambling and grasping at straws. The fact that the Government endorses "the sale" of cigarettes and then legislate laws prohibiting their use is reason enough for a hell of an argument. However.....smoking in "all cases" reduces the quality of every persons physical being (life). There are no benefits or plusses to smoking and that is the message you should be sending as a person with many listeners. Smokers rights should not be the focus, the health of your listeners should be!

  • 20 years I worked in the restaurant business in Chicago & retired in 97. I will tell you that 95% of all waitresses & waiters smoked. IDK how the employees are getting through their shifts today without a cigarette? Pity them & hope that these rediculous bans are thrown in the garbage one day.

  • Everybody pause at 2:23! Youb can see her smile and it's beautiful!! Not that you wern't already... you are...just more...when you smile... :) Please do it more often!

  • Our Gov. does not rule the people, the people rule the Gov. it feels like its the other way around and that's why they have problems

  • @bellatrix2253 sadly fact is they do, look around you.

  • It's because the government as a whole wants to destroy small businesses in favor of large corporations.

  • 2nd hand smoking do NOT do any harm to you're health, you people are so scared of this fact...there using fear tactics...but yet you turn a blind eye and say (I agree) without any proof to back up the claims, again it's about (choice) it's you're choice not to smoke or to smoke...dont get up in my face telling me i haVE to move where i'm no where near where it says (no smoking here)..get the point? i guess not.

  • Comment removed

  • when they ban smoking.lets all smoke pot.thier trying to make that legal.lol

  • Choice? Correct. It's a property rights issue. Can you imagine the uproar if the government mandated that property owners, who bar it's paying customers from smoking in their establishments, MUST allow smoking on their property?

In today's liberal environment most people can care less about property rights, especially the envious desire in human nature to control and manipulate what other people have spent their lives and fortune establishing. Nonsmokers are cool. Antismokers are disgusting

  • Thanks for posting a common sense approach to this issue. I am a truck driver and see varying smoking bans throughout the USA. Unfortunately the states that have smoking sections are too few and far between. Thank you MO, KY, WY and parts of TX for still allowing smoking in restaurants.

  • Smoking is gross. I couldn't date a smoker. Sorry I know that sounds bad but I just don't want to be around that shit. I think smoking is disgusting. I'm glad to see smoking bans. If you want to ruin your life with nicotine that's fine but you sholdn't have the right to force that junk onto me. It's not the smokers fault, they have just become a victim of the most addictive drug nicotine

  • @fasteddie847

Does anyone you date eat potatoes, tomatoes or caulflower? Because there is the same nicotine in eating each of those as spending 3 hours next to a smoker. You're getting second-hand nicotine from your date every time you kiss! Fucking hypocrite. Stop trying to rule peoples' behavior to supplant your self-serving sense of squeaky-clean existence.

  • @USAon3 i doubt there is the same nicotine levels in tomatoes as in cigarettes. i don't want to be around second hand smoke. it's harmful. there are about 4,000 chemicals in tobacco smoke. smokers have bad breath, yellow teeth, their clothes and hair stink, ashtrays are fucking nasty. Sorry, that's just the truth. If I wore stinky clothing and smelled all the time from something other than smoke do you think anyone would want to date me? I doubt it. Sorry, that's just the way it is

  • @fasteddie847

Oh, you're calling science a liar? You track down the scientist that did this study and tell him he's full of shit.

As a matter of fact, your liberal Muslim president, Barry Soetoro, is a smoker. I'd love to see you tell him he stinks. They'd drum you right out of the Democrap party. Then you couldn't hug any more trees, you hippy waste of flesh.

  • @USAon3 what are you talking about? oh my you are one angry person. barack obama doesn't smoke anymore. he says he's quit

  • @fasteddie847

He also said the economy is better and the recession ended last year. Do you believe those lies as well? You're just the kind of subject Barry counts on - blind, dumb and no brain of your own. I bet you voted for him thinking he'd pay your gas and mortgage, too.

I can't wait until real Americans take this country back from the Soetoro regime, and people like you can crawl back and whine from under your rocks.

  • @USAon3 if you want to see the country taken back i would quit smoking if i were you. smokers die 17% faster than non smokers

  • @fasteddie847

it won't take that long. It's already started.

Wait for this November. Barry loses the legs of the Soetoro regime and this country heads back in the right direction - away from the whims of the Kenyan usurper.

  • @USAon3 Seriously you are on ignorant fool. Yes nicotine is in other things besides cigarettes....but do tomatoes blacken our lungs? Do tomatoes cause Gum Disease? Nope...

You seriously need to get YOUR facts straight before someone shoves their fist in YOUR fat mouth.

I'm sorry but when i read your posts...the Rum and Sunny D lady comes to mind....just sayin.

  • To all those who initiate the very campaigns that find us sacrificing a little liberty for some false sense of security, through your either conscious or unconscious desires to live in some Utopian society...If you fail to open your eyes; see the big picture; and cease with your self serving acts - the result of your efforts will be some nightmarish Orwellian future that not even you, will consider pleasant.

  • Let's just keep it simple. The founding fathers had the foresight to incorporate into the Constitution - 20 enumerated functions, that set boundaries, intended to prevent government from doing much of what they currently do - by outlining what their responsibilities are; unfortunately, not only are most unaware of the existence of these functions - but would rather facilitate continued overstepping of boundaries by requesting that govt intervene where it is not their business to do so.

  • all you idiots who support smoking bans, especially in bars, are so missing the point. since when does the goverment have the right to tell me if people can smoke in my bar that i own n pay for. all my patrons smoke, n those that don't like it can stay home. but now uncle sam thinks its his job to save us from ourselves. seatbelts, smoking bans. hate crimes. whats next? you people make me sick, imposing your views on me. so if 51% wanna kill the other 49% ? its democratic...

  • this makes me think about the other day, when I visited a town hall (in a very small town). I walked in, and the lady working there was puffing on a cigarette. The funny thing was the police station was in the same building. Then I went to the store just down the road from where I live, and there were ash trays sitting on the tables. I live in eastern N.C. and there are tobacco fields all over, so I guess it's a way of life around here.

  • Bring on the "fat tax" on high sugar products such as colas and candy. People are too dumb to realize once you lay the groundwork to demonize one segment, its easier to target the next group. Great Video!

  • I have been in many resturants before the "smoking" ban and they had air exhaust systems that made the resturant smell totally smoke free. The point is like she said, do you want the govt telling you how to run your business, and one step further to run your life. First make it ok, not to hire smokers because of company health insurance costs, then the next step will be overweight people. Discrimination and being intollerant of others is not cool. Great video.

  • I really like this you should have lit one up during this also

  • Your freedom to smoke ends where (the ability of my nose to smell it) begins! This has nothing to do with whether or not second-hand smoke is harmful. I don't want you to stink up the air I breathe; it is THAT simple! If you are too weak to quit smoking YET, and I know every smoker plans to quit ONE DAY - I'm not going to let you sit there and pollute my environment.

  • then move somewhere else, walk 3 meters away, :p not that hard

  • i am a non smoker. firstly, this country was based on the idea of free enterprise. your going to force a business to change their ways because of some silly law? what about the business owners and customers. maybe your mistake was stepping into a place where clearly, smoking is allowed. if it's allowed somewhere i will enter anyway, but that's MY choice. i haven't smoked for some years, but that doesn't make me any stronger as a person either.

  • @talktoadrian then move the hell away from me if your (Nose) can't stand the smell, Racists pigs these days....MORE hate i see >.> gotta love humans nowdays that has LESS of a brain in there skulls than in there asses.....jeez.

  • @talktoadrian

Your freedom to whine about smoke ends where (the ability of my ears to hear it) begins!

Don't like if someone is smoking? Step the fuck off, it's our air too. if you are too weak to allow other people their freedom - I'm not going to let you sit there and pollute my environment with your whining. You put more pollutants in the air with the car you drive than a smoker ever could. Fucking hypocrite.

  • @USAon3 Amen brother,Amen to that.....

  • your very educated on this topic, and your right about the studies that they are cherrie picked and its sooo easy to find this info but most ppl dont wanna hear it, actually alot of studies with many topics are done like this, the behaviour of the population is designed and many ppl dont know cause they have been conditioned from birth and are not capable of critical thought. SHS does not harm anyone and thats a fact, great video, very informative

  • I agree: let the restaurant owner decide. If employees don't want to work at an establishment that permits smoking, they don't have to; likewise, non-smoking customers don't have to frequent the place. Let the market -- not the government -- dictate which way the wind, or smoke, blows :-D

Partial aside: I do find it interesting that anti-smoking measures have increased dramatically since Bush left office and the GOP lost so much political clout.

  • You may want to sit there and smoke on rat poisoning, cyanide, and the many other harmful elements they add in cigarettes (including Urea, a common element in human urine). You might want to sit there and slowly kill yourself, that's fine by me....but don't take others with you.

  • I find it very rude when I go to a public place and someone is puffing on a cigarette when others are trying to eat. For one it stinks like hell, no one wants to be around that while chewing on a steak. Second, its an irritant.....causes numerous irritations on the face and nasal/throat cavity to many non smokers. Its very selfish to argue that you should be able to smoke in a public place.

  • That's why they have smoking and non smoking sections =]

  • EXACTLY. amen...

  • @vampyretears666

Ever put sauce on that steak? Steak sauce contains tomato - which ALSO has nicotine in it. You're getting about the same amount from that yummy sauce as you would sitting near a smoker. Deal with it Until the sign says "vampyretears666 Park - No Smoking" you have no right to open your fat trap. Someone might put their cigarette out in it anyway. :)

  • @USAon3 I would be happy to put out my cigarette up his ass!

  • The fact remains your argument is void, you claim to be a wiccan (wiccans do NOT harm themselves or others) yet you're sucking on a cancer stick and harming others around you if you go out and smoke around others. I say if someone wants to smoke, they should take their crutch somewhere where others will not have to be subjected to toxins.

  • @vampyretears666 Oh please stfu, even the AIR you breth in is MORE deadly more dangrous then smoking is...smoking does little to no harm at all..while you breath in TOXIC air..i'll still be living age of 100 :) OH btw i'm Wiccan too!

  • @zeustruth You fkn moron! Smoking does little to no harm???... My Grandfather died of lung cancer you asshole, FROM SMOKING!... His wife, my Granmother, died of lung cancer from second hand smoke! Dumbass!!

  • @ReesaBelle Sorry, you're a liar.

  • Comment removed

  • @ReesaBelle YOU got reported!

  • @FaganRoberts LMFAO, LIKE I GIVE A F*#KKKKKKKKK!! HAHAHA

  • To protect your rights you must protect the rights of others, especially the ones you don't like. If you don't like smoking leave it up to the owner's to decide on smoking policies and then go to places that adopt a non-smoking policy, but if you allow fascism the government will take away things you enjoy under the false pretense they are protecting you and that sucks. You should give a fudge.

"If you sacrifice freedoms for security you will lose both." Ben Franklin

  • @ReesaBelle prove it was idiot....

  • @zeustruth Smoke and die from lung cancer then mother fuker, like I care about you, or want to prove anything to you... go fuck yourself!!

  • @ReesaBelle awww did i hit a nerv? poor babie boy blue, you sure dont have no life but to stick around with your thumb up your ass and trolling youtube, better know the facts babie blue.

you are wrong that you dont need to prove anything to me, show me prove that smoking causes cancer compared to the *AIR* you breath in from car fumes, you humans are so stupid beyond anyones mind.

  • @zeustruth Dude... Who the fuck are you to judge people you fat piece of shit!!?? You can't even fuken talk properly, you god damn retard!! Take your video's off youtube, you fool! Is your trailer home haunted buddy, lol?????... WITH A RED FUKING TORCH, HAHAHHAAHHAHAHA

  • @zeustruth oh please you're living in a fools paradise 30-year-old smoker can expect to live about 35 more years, whereas a 30-year-old nonsmoker can expect to live 53 more years. thats 18 years of your life gone. and for what? FOR WHAT? so you can be disgusting? vampyretears666 is right wiccans dont hurt others or themselves "and ye harm none do what ye will" dont disrespect wiccans everywhere by your ignorance of the reality you are breathing in everyday.

  • @lakota246 show you're proof, again you're the one who's in fools paradice. sorry but you're wrong.

  • @zeustruth i didnt just get that off the top of my head i looked it up. google life expectancy for smokers third one down. sorry but I'm not wrong you're choosing what to believe and not seeing the evidence that is right in front of your face.

  • @lakota246 Thats not evidance, if it was it would of made into law and make every tabbaco comany be sued and go out of biz and people would be dieing on the streets like a Nazi street...those are numbers not evidance...again have you heard what she said? they thrown it out the courts cuz it was stupid and n ot backed up, (thats my proof and point) this is free country do not like it? get out...our fathers made this country, if they ban smoking round the world they will ban everyday life.fact.

  • @zeustruth sorry I wish I could debate with you more on this but I have no idea what you just said, I don't really understand the point you're trying to make. You want to smoke? Fine, smoke, I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. But don't force your smoke on other people who choose NOT to take that road in life. You probably made some points in what you just said I just didn't understand it (Nazi street?) so whatever maybe you'll explain to me maybe you won't I honestly could care less either way.

  • @lakota246 dude, dont p0ut that shit in my mouth, its up to others who want to smoke or not..its FREE COUNTRY..get it??????? another thing looks like i made my point...again if you dont *give a shit* stop replying back to me...your the one who posted to me...deal with it.

  • @zeustruth honestly IM DONE ok? im not gonna convince you of anything and you're not convincing me of anything so have fun with smoking ok? i really DONT care

  • If you go into a restaurant, test the atmosphere of a "non" smoking side and the smoking side. The toxic levels are the same. This was a study done by MANY Universities. I have asthma and any type of smoke from nicotine gives me migraines. Why should other people suffer because you want to slowly kill your body?

  • Amen Krissie

  • i agree with you we dont need the goverment infringing on rights and controlling us

  • I have a lot of smoking friends that said they would stop getting to bars or restaurants following the ban. A month later, they got bored staying home and started going again.

We're in 2009, non-smokders outnumber smokers, majority rules. That's just the way it is. It is done and will not change.

  • I actually agree with you on many of your opinions coincide with mine, but I have a problem with this one. I have an allergy to smoke, and I have asthma. I am also a hypochondriac, I admit.

This made it very hard to go places in public. As much as you may feel unfairly locked out of smoking, I feel much worse because I have absolutely no control over. I understand you can't just stop though, but atleast it's possible. I can't get rid of my asthma, nor allergies. Atleast you have some control.

  • Smoking is disgusting period.

You have even admitted that smoking is bad!

  • If you feel smoking is disgusting, don't smoke. period, But to those who want to smoke support there freedom to smoke, if you'r American you should support freedom to choose

  • I personally do not smoke. I respect others decision to choose. If you could doesn't mean always should.

    My two cents.. ..

  • Also, fructose corn syrup, Macdonalds - for that matter, fast food in general. Caffeine. All these things are more detrimental to health than second-hand smoking. 90% of statistics are false. Lul, lul.

  • I would view a smoking ban as an impeachment of the first amendment. No smoking in or within 25 feet of a building in my county. Unfortunate, but understandable. Though I agree with your reputable. Rule by the people. Ha. -_-; How distasteful.

  • All good- great post. People need to worry more about the air they breathe in a city street. ETS (s/h smoke) is way lower in carbon monoxide levels. Not a single study by the EPA, WHO, whoever has ever proved that ETS is harmful or in any way linked to cancer. Even ASH admits this. As for 'bad smells' e.g. tobacco, I don't happen to like the smell of junk food but I don't whine about it.

  • Just another nicotine junkies' rambling, trying to convince herself that she's not one.

  • Nicotine junkies? . . . if it wasn't for smoking, I would be shooting retards like you

  • Diddo your an idiot! She makes many good points

  • she looks hot in this vid

  • I am neutural on the law. there are pros and cons. as u said, why would u do somehting that will probably hurt ur business, such as make people go outside, or make them sit in an enclosed area where it is more dangerous, the smoke building up like that? Also, what about kids who don't hav a choice? Kids would b sitting in the car with a parent or grandparent, but they nevr open the window enough or at all. like i said, there are pros and there are cons to the situation.

  • what they fail to say is that you have to have constant expoisure to second hand smoke, ie you sit next to a smoker every time they smoke.

  • what about the rights of the non smokers. just stop smokeing if u don't like smokeing outside

  • Have you noticed that since we have a democratic controlled house and senate plus a democratic president that day by day we are losing more and more of our freedoms? The democrats want to control everything we do and it is not going to get any better until we throw dem bums out. Our lovely mother the gov in nc just signed a bill to ban all smoking in rest and bars. She was so happy to do it for the good of all nc citizens because she knows whats best for all of us. The mother gov. got to go!

  • ...it may result in the loss of something you don't approve of.

Now I don't know how old some of you are, but if you're old enough to actually have seen the multitude of changes that have taken nearly 50 years to progress this far...You'd see that for all your attempts at a Utopian society, that we're actually further away from that than closer, and it is a concomitant of both apathy over weightier matters, and intolerance for the lesser; and when you think about it, we were better off.

  • To those non smokers who celebrate these bans...You're completely missing the point, and should be very careful about what you ask for.

The point is...It is not the Govs role to dictate (at least not our Government), how we should live our lives. It has actually been made law in some places, that you can't smoke in your own home. Bullshit you say? I agree; but it had to start somewhere. They continually push the envelope to see what they can get away with; and one day...

  • @CriticalTh1nker wecome to amerika.............

  • Turn your public establishment into a private club with a 1-cent daily membership fee. Most "private" places are excluded from the laws that take away OUR OWN VIEWS of life, liberty, & the pursuit of happiness. Regardless of whether it is bad for us, it IS our life. Wait till they regulate red meat, corn fructose (sugar) in soft drinks, stinky perfume that makes people wreck their cars from holding their noses. Then listen to the masses gritch! Butt out & let individual establishments decide

  • Why is it all the sudden such a big deal you asK?

    why is it so "detremental"

    here

one in every five deaths in the United States is smoking related. Every year, smoking kills more than 276,000 men and 142,000 women.

smoking kills more innocent people than IMMIGRANTS !!!!

AND CHILDREN HAVE TO PUT UP WITH DYING

  • We in the UK have the smoking ban in public indoor places. And it is great.

  • Is it really a fate worse than death to have to get up and drag your body OUTDOORS to smoke? I think not. I mean, really, some of us don't like the smell and we don't like smoke stinging our eyes. Even if a place has a smoking and non-smoking section, smoke still carries over. And you can only move so far away from it until you might as well eat outside, and that's not fair. Non-smokers have just as much right to eat indoors as smokers.

  • If you don't like second hand smoke....

DON'T GO TO PLACES WHERE PEOPLE SMOKE YOU IDIOTS!

  • Better idea, STOP SMOKING IN PUBLIC!

  • Actually I am trying to quit, but that doesn't mean that I should then turn around and dictate to others who are in a private establishments.

  • I really hope you do stop smoking. As we know it is BAD for your health. But it also just plain stinks to be around. Yeach I hate smoking!!

  • I like the smoking ban. I cant stand the smell, It makes me sick. Im a big bar hopper and i dont like coming home and smelling like a butt head. My apartment is full of smokers, and the thing that gets me is all the kids living hear, have to deal with it. And half the time they dont go to school because there sick.

  • Well said. What doesn't make any sense is that government dictates that grown adults are not to be trusted to make the decision as to whether or not to work in a bar that allows smoking, and yet they are perfectly able to decide whether or not they actually smoke the cigarettes themselves.

Anyway, the passive smoking thing is utter rubbish and they know it. It's all about 'denormalising' smoking, or rather social engineering, and that is far more revolting than any whiff of smoke ever was.

  • i'm from the netherlands and a complete smoking ban for public spaces has been instated not that lon ago. On one side I agree with it, because everyone needs to be able to enjoy the spaces, on the onther hand I totally agree with tou. It's people's and businessowner's own choice if they want to smoke or not.

i think owners should be able t decide on their own, i'll just hop around untill i find a nonsmoking café i like :)

  • It's not that I don't like smokers...I don't like smoking. It's absolutley disgusting. My mom smokes in the house and I have told her numerous times to take it outside for at the very least go into the fucking bathroom. She refuses. As a result, I have severe athsma now.

Krissie I love you, keep up the good work!

  • Its called Democracy. The majority can pass laws to prohibit conduct that offends them. Second it's a legitimate public health issue, and a totally responsible movement to try and resolve it. Third if you are trying to deny health risks of second hand smoke. Then you are either a liar or a fool. The evidence is overwhelming.

  • "The majority can pass laws to prohibit conduct that offends them"

Nonsense. Look up 'the tyranny of the majority'.

  • Fucking - A right!

  • "The evidence is overwhelming"

Meta-analysis shows a RR factor of 1.24 for lung cancer from SHS - a figure arrived at by highly dubious means. As a non-smoker you have around a 1 in 10,000 chance of contracting lung cancer. 1.24 raises the risk to 1.24 in 10k. But that is the RR for those who have lived with smokers for decades, so occasionally popping in a bar is more like an RR of 1.024. That's 1.024 in 10,000. If you are worried about that kind of risk you'd never walk out your front door.

  • Very Smart girl, I agree 100%

  • Hey, may I mention something??? after all, that's what comments are for. Second hand smoke does kill people, great that all know that, it's good. And you mentioned PUBLIC establishment. For the public, not just smokers. And non- smokers should be able to enjoy a place made for them, without damage to their health. Public is public. And what makes you think the system wasn't broken if 3000 people die from passive smoking a year?? Crime is an amazing killer, don'tcha know??

  • i remember this crap in colorado when i lived there, im not even a smoker and i protested against this stupid act or what ever you want to call it, the point is if we're losing money and your trying to remove people that are at least (and im totally pulling these odds out of my own oppinion) 1/3 the people that pay for the product.......thats 1/3 of the money which keeps employers to pay workers which causes loss in jobs which is just feeding the fire of economical down fall..nice call EPA....

  • Believe it or not, in Ontario (Canada), you now can't smoke in your own car if there are children in it.

  • "Believe it or not, in Ontario (Canada), you now can't smoke in your own car if there are children in it."

ZOMG what a terrible place. You mean you can't even abuse your own child in your own car in Ontario? What will they think of next?

  • Also they should ban bars and drinking. If I smoke a cig Im not gonna get in my car and possibly take a life. I cant believe my smoking is gonna upset the drunk guy laying on the bar and will get in his car and possibly take a life that night..you wanna make things safe go all the way.

  • I just love how the goverment puts all these things in our face even meds yrs ago that have addicted people and now you cant get it because they see its bad, they did the same thing with smoking and thier doing it even now with all these new drugs on informmercials everynight.

  • As someone that is watching his father who is slowly and painfully dying because of smoking, I have zero tolerance for smoking or smokers. Smoking should be banned, period! And don't try to use the usual "alcohol" defense because it is not the same. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING good comes from smoking, NOTHING! It is poison and waste. Non-smoker section my ass. I'm sorry, but if you are stupid enough to smoke then you're in no position to complain about the efforts to stop this spreading of poison.

  • I am a former smoker. Ireland did this and you should see the results. It is awesome. The bar owners/employees love it. There was a recent article about Pueblo Colorado and that the rate of heart attacks dropped big time. We have noise bans. Would you appreciate someone sitting next to you in a restaurant blaring music so loud it would damage your hearing? We are the only animal on earth that doesn't fear and run away from smoke. Don't kid yourself. I loved it too but it kills period!

  • Thats the law in England hun.. smokers have to smoke outside in smoking gardens ect. problem is a lot of small scale pubs & clubs who dont hav the facilities 2 provide smoking areas hav had 2 close down cos non smokers said theyd go to pubs if smokers werent in there... guess what they didnt lol. I gave up smoking when the ban came in like a lot of people in england.. tbh i do think its good cos smoking is bad & the onlu reason its legal is cos the goverment benifits so much from taxes.

  • Krissie, the reason you need to stop smoking, is because smoking gradually reduces your capacity for clear thinking. And clear thinking is what you need to set yourself free inside. Smoking will contribute to your confusions, like the haze that blocks the sun. You're mind will not have the ability to cope or remedy inner battles, and it will not just put your physical health at risk, but it will also lead to great unhappiness. So, smoke if you want, but just be aware of what you're doing.

  • i agree with you

i use to be a smoker and every thing and i'm not

but it should be up to the owners not the government on this

if the owners want a non smoking or a smoking sections and everything but yeah

    i agree with you

and thank you for the video

  • perrfume is detrimental to my health but i have to smell it,,cars put out poison fumes as well as city buses..factories make plastic ,chemical cleaners, etc,,we are breathing that also..this is typical american hypocrisy! you can rape a kid but dont smoke! you can sell crack and sell your ass in front of elementary schools but dont smoke! you can be a complete drunk anywhere you like but dont smoke! just see the stupidity! this is the new world order where we lose all freedom!

  • they tried that non smoking crap in myrtle beach and surfside..hahaha the bars lost soo much money they had to lift the ban hahaha smoke em if u got em..love ur videos krissie

  • smokers have to stop poisening non smokers, the bad has to move away, let the good move forward.

  • Banning smoking is like banning alcohol...oh wait we tried that already...our bad. Point is, its not going to work. I personally don't like the smell of smoke, that doesn't mean that I want to restrict the rights of smokers to smoke where ever they want. It's a free country. In that respect I agree with you.

  • The only reason it didn't work is because they didn't enforce something like the death penalty if you were caught. That would be the only way to make it really work.

  • I think smoking of cigarettes should be banned nationwide. The cigarette companies should be put out of business. There is NOTHING GOOD about smoking, the people are hurting there own health, raising the cost of health insurance for everybody, they stink, and are simply disgusting. In my opinion people that smoke are loosers that do not give a rats ass about their health.Quit your filthy disgusting habit already.Nuff said.

  • I think people should be allowed to smoke, but because of my heart, I can't have any second-hand smoke. I wish I could go places that I can't simply because people are smoking. However, I think banning smoking is the same as banning perfume. Some people are deathly allergic to perfume, but that doesn't mean you ban it.

  • here you look a little like.., Jena Malone,

but peopel must've told you that before. :\

no i mean it in a good way, yeah.

  • A smoker isn't bothered by smoke, so a smoker can go to 100% of establishments. A non-smoker such as myself cannot for any number of reasons:choice, distaste or medical. I have been medically diagnosed as being asthmatic to smoke. I cannot go where smokers are... at least in enclosed spaces. This is the point. No one is telling smokers that they can't keep smoking, but they government (either by edict, or popular vote) is saying that its time that non-smokers rights are being protected.

  • Living without freedom or liberties may couse some Americans to become depressed which leads to heart disease, obeseity, and several other health issues. They should ban laws due to health concerns. Actually smoking bans could be considerd assault.

  • I think one of the reasons the government is focusing so much on smoking is becuase its a great way for politicians to get some power off of buissnesses. If I were a politictian I would not focus on petty politics like this and power mongering, I think there are way more important things we should focus on. btw I like your videos Krissie they are keeping me entertained today while im skipping class =)

  • I agree that restaurants should have a choice of having a seperate smoking section when the government does this there are interfering with free capitalism, we are not communist the government should not control our bussinesses. Also, I love the people that freak out like right below my posting globehunter is freaking out lol. Also you should be able to smoke in bars not very fair, I mean I don't even smoke but people go overboard with this anti-smoke issue and its annoying.

  • your going to die anyway... you think the gas fumes of cars helps your lungs or just the air you breathe wont kill you? just breathing air will cause lung cancer dude. you can get cancer from many things without cigg smoke. and plus it would be fair if you could still smoke in places such as bars.... we go in there to poison ourselves and our livers anyways. so why do you worry about poisoning your lungs? it would be nice to have a designated smoking area. so we can all enjoy

  • no your wrong I do look healthy. doctor even says my lungs are healthy. if you can quit before 26 or 28, your lungs are scarred but can naturally rebuild themselves if you can manage to quit at that time. look it up. you are absolutely right about that and also absolutly wrong. we try not to blow it in your way. but people like you are dumb enough to walk right up to someone smoking or and start talking shit while breathing it in. we try pretty hard not poison anyone else. but you need to move.

  • Nice Video Blog.Thoughtful in Places actually.Glad to know I'm not the Only Person who sometimes wonders if the Bans and The People who Support them are the REAL danger. Don't worry about Kimmie's Posts..Sounds Like a JW..They are Rabidly anti smoking..Here's a Great quote for her to Remember,.1 Corinthians I Believe,"Why is My Liberty Subject to Someone else's Conscience?" Stick your Guns Krissie, your Not alone in This.God Bless us smokers, each and every one.

  • i crave smoke in my lungs

  • Scottyron1956 - So you have the constitutional right to tell ME where to live, drink, eat or enjoy the company of others? That's what Bans do - they deny the choice for you to go to non-smoking bars and me to go to smoking bars. Besides, bars are not "PUBLIC SPACES." - you don't have a right to go there. They are private property, and the owner should have the right to allow or disallow what they want. Don't agree? Try going to the bar in the Hilton in a G-string and see how far you get.

  • Actually, I wanted to say one thing that I failed to mention. You are a pretty girl. It is a shame that in 20-30 years of smoking, that could all change. Smokers get haggard and wrinkled and loose their vocal cords. It is not too late to stop smoking.

  • Holy shit! You were born in 1956, scotty?! Going by all of the information from The Truth and the Lung Cancer association, you should be dead from second-hand smoke and pollution in the air! Let's stop all human beings from indulging in vices and chain them to walls, that way, they'll truly be happy having achieved nirvana from their caring government!

  • Bottom line, you go somewhere else. Smokers have already lost this battle in many states. And the trend will be no smoking in most areas in the US within 5-10 years. No doubt.

  • As an occasional Smoker of Pipes/Cigars/Hookahs, I say let us smoke, for me it can be a guilty Pleasure!, esp up here in Canada where i can by Cuban Cigars!!. We have stupid smoking bans in the province of ontario & the Tax is outrageous, I fear no one but myself & mother natures fury, no one is going to tell me what i can & can't put in my lungs!

  • Yeah, I'm really gonna waste my time researching cigarettes? NOT. BTW, Krissie, we all do not have a 100% of dying. You can either spend all of eternity in a place that will torture you and slowly burn, or you can spend all of eternity walking on streets of gold with the Heavenly Father. Your choice. And about the tax on cigarettes, if you're gonna continue to buy them at that price, it pretty much is an addiction

  • Heaven & Hell are places of FICTION! & have nothing to do with the topic of this video!

  • Heaven & Hell are places, but not of fiction. Jesus is real. He loves you, even if you don't love Him. Smoking causes lung cancer, sometimes oral cancer too. Smoking is not a habit, more of an addiction. You have to understand, not everyone sees things as you do, or don't. Get over it, it's my opinion. You have the right to your opinion & I have the right to think it's wrong. Get over it

  • Kid I know Smoking Causes Cancer, yes we have the right to our own opinions, i'll put in my lungs what i want, just remember Science has disproved, religion & the bible, Heaven & Hell are just, Metaphors, they don't exist, I was raised a catholic, & taught evolution & not to take the bible literally by my parents & grand parents, are really that brainwashed? free your mind kid!

  • I'm a Christian, that is different than Catholic in a few ways. God created science, people created religion. The Bible is not just a bunch of stories that were made up, it's a life guide and stories of people with different religion and views and how God changed them. You can never deceive God no matter what you do. I may be a 'kid' but as for religion I am a woman of God and a follower of Christ

  • 'Kimmee1993' u go girl

  • I'm a smoker and I just see this whole smoking ban as just another part of the New World Order and one world government. Luckily smokeasies are showing up all over the world now if only I could find one. It's actually exciting to smoke and drink inside now. Smokers Unite!!!

  • I do not smoke, However both of my parents smoke and so does my brother. I have asthma and honestly cig smake does not trigger it at all. My biggest problem is perfume. I would like to see it banned No one should be able to wear it! OK to be serious I think it is insane all of this second hand smoke crap. People are getting cancer NOT by smoking but by eating too much food with preservitives.

I think if I owned my own business I should be alowed to say who is alowed in my establishment!!

  • This is not a topic that is "suddenly" causing a problem. secondhand smoke has been a problem for a long time, which is why these issues have been discussed since 1590 when the history of smoke bans started. as for statistics, the worldwide count of smoke-related deaths has reached up to 3 million a year, and is still growing. one o
