You can get full metal guns here in Canada. Some stores sell them. I have a full metal CA AK47. Hopefully the laws will loosen up soon and we'll be able to easily import full metal guns!

I think it's bullshit that we need clear receivers instead of the orange tip in the USA. They look ugly close up and still look very realistic when looking upon them at farther distances. Like who wants clear plastic on a M4 that should be full black/metal.

I think this law is a dumb law. Canadian citizens should be able to play airsoft with guns like the ones ppl use in America or Europe! Just make the muzzle tip blaze orange tip or something.

I completely agree but our government seems to think that our police force is so colour blind so they can't spot an orange tip on an airsoft gun....if you think about it...black gun with bright orange tip....it's not that hard to miss. Besides, people who participate in airsoft are mature and responsible enough to refrain from running in the fucking street with their airsoft gun. Our laws are so stupid, especially gun control but that's another story...

haha I meant that our laws should be more lenient to allow just orange tips that's why I was saying our government seems to think that our police force is colour blind that we need clear lower receivers. I'm aware of our airsoft laws, I've spent hours on the phone with CBSA arguing and reading through the prohibited importation booklet.

It's technically a rule that you need to have a clear lower receiver on the gun yet people with licenses to import them are somehow getting regular airsoft into the country so it's somewhat hard to say.

buddyboy6738- Yes and No. If you buy a gun from wal-mart or canadian tire yes you do have to have clear parts but if you buy it from airsoft retailers such as evike and buairsoftcanada then you don't have to have a clear gun since it's gone through customs already.
