@paulph12002 I'm the one that shot this film but I had to start another channel because of email problems. I sold the car to a guy from Basingstoke. He was a classic car dealer and I pointed out all the faults to him. I was under the impression he was going to restore it as it had some serious rust problems in the front A posts. It could well be sorned or would that still show up as being licensed?
@EustonFilms Thanks for your comment. If a car shows as unlicensed it usually means it's been scrapped. If this car had serious rust in the A-posts there was probably other rust on it too. If a car is sorned it will be clearly marked by the dvla as being on sorn. But cars that were already off the road when sorn started in January 98 don't have to be sorned or taxed, unless they are put back on the road. So these often show as unlicensed even though they still exist in off road storage.
@paulph12002 Thanks that's interesting to know. I just emailed my mate who also had a Consul GT that I filmed. He reckons banger racers may have got it. Sorry to learn of this because it was a nice car to look at but unknowing to me when I bought it, it was a carefully disguised rust bucket. I shot a lot of 16mm film of this car and hopefully will upload more footage when I can afford to have it telecined.
Wow! apart from the road markings this is very convincing! the music is a little early for the model of the car, because its late 60's to very early70's you really did a good job on this, goodness where the music came from? reminds me of, doctor in the house, man about the house, etc, [PLEASE PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY]!!! good quality filming, reload it one day when you have time [Digital isn't all its cracked up to be!] i cant believe you did this 2003 are you sure? I had the corsair. Yellow.
@PulseUltraFan No it wasn't a phone camera. I uploaded this when the quality of You Tube was similar to a 19th Century pinhole camera. I may get all my 16mm film professionally scanned soon and upload this again because 16mm film is as good as HD when it's properly done.
@airscrew1 yea i understand, i could imagine such a fine quality! this one to me is good tho, the music and the titles give it that real vintage look and feel
hey this is thundersley! toward rayleigh and hadleigh looks great on 16mm old feel like the old abc cinema films remember those?god im showing my age here! great music toe tapping stoff lets have some more!!!
Nice video. Looks like JMK646P has sadly gone to the great scrapyard in the sky, as it's showing as unlicensed since Dec 2007.

airscrew1, Thank you for introducing "The Greatest Show on Earth" to me! Now this theme went directly into my favourites!
I'm still looking for a clean version of this theme along with "Please Sir" as well.

I used to have a 3.0 GXL in a sort of dark bronze colour with a dark brown vynal roof. I loved that car.
