I attended a game this week for the first time at Mater Dei. I had heard the fans were classless and arrogant, but attended with an open mind.
This was the worse high school crowd I have ever witnessed. I saw many obese loud, uneducated fans (maybe parents - I have no idea) shout insults and racist comments at the visiting team. I was disgusted.
Their players all looked like they were 20 years old and fat, and many of the parents were plain losers.
i hate mater dei. i have never met so many fucked up kids in my life. sluts, drug addicts, boozers. i would never let my kids go there. sad part is that every student there things they are perfect. arrogant and entitled. every dumb kid there thinks people hate them because they are jealous. wrong. we hate you because your sluts.

Why so many thumbs down? Miami Northwestern beat an undefeated team 41-0 in the state championship. The other team had a negative yards of offense!!! MNW is the best team of all time...
De la salle had probably the best run ever by winning 151 games but the 2007 MNW could probably take any of those teams that Concord fielded for those ten years...Just my opinion

The reason dls is so good is because they are extremely well coached and they work hard. They rarely have any outstanding talent. In the past 3 years they have only sent 2 players onto D1 scholarships. They are well coached and hard working which is why that program will always be extremely strong and that is also why they have 5 national championships when no other highschool in the country has more than 2.
