@leondelai daigo is a full time gamer and gets sponsorship which pays for his hotel/flights etc, not everyone is like him to work as a full-time gamer in japan, alot of these good japanese players have jobs like a normal person. Besides the cost of just going to USA to just enter 1 big tournament is not exactly going to make you super rich and pay for all your living costs. Therefore you wont see alot of pro japanese players in big tournament.

2:04, So many questions arose when I saw this. 1) Has this ever been done in the history of this game in order to avoid/counter an anti-air Ultra by Rufus? 2) Did Daigo practice this or was this just improvised on the spot? 3) If Daigo didn't do the EX-Hurricane kick, would Rufus's Ultra have connected or would Daigo be able to block in time?

@adamacosta16 like ggpofan said, it's a 6-4 in rufus favor. but the thing about it is, that rufus is a high impact rushdown character with massive damage output. and although pressuring ryu is a little risky for rufus because of srk, two and a half good guesses will kill ryu almost instantly. besides that, sbo is only one match bo3 rounds, which is hella random.
