Ghandi said "The greatness of a nation can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Penalties for animal abuse are small, and the human criminal justice system works against human victims of crimes. Some may go overboard in caring for their animals, but at least they aren't usually cruel.

The Same thing happened to my niebors dog that he got from the pound. He said when he first got him that he did not like to be touched. 1 year latter he is just about the sweetest dog you ever saw and loves people. Him and my own dog that is a resque from a puppy where she spent the first six months of her life are great friends and play with each other by running the leangth of our fence.
I've actually had people laugh at abuse like this when they were nine years. They even said that they found their own injured pets amusing. And when I see how many animals are killed, chased off, hated, or forced to roam around the cars in the streets, it truly makes me wonder why some humans are aggressive toward those creatures with little intelligence. People such as those shown in the animal cops series do the opposite of all this. They truly deserve more support for their efforts.

I say chain the owner up-with the same chain she used on that poor dog- in the backyard without food or water for about as long as that dog was out there.
I've always wanted to be some sort of animal worker, but watching any of these Animal Cops shows really inspires me to do it.
I just can't believe some of these cases though, like they say on the show - you think you've seen it all and then something worse happens.. I don't think I'll ever fully understand how people can do this stuff to animals.
I wish I could do this for a living, this would be a dream come true to help animals hands on like this. I just wonder if I would be ok actually having to face the people that do this. I have to question if I could keep my cool and not slap someone in the face when they tell me the animal is fine and it's in that sort of condition. : /

Thankfully the poor fella wasn't permanently affected by the chain. I'm personally astounded by how cruel people can be. It seems to escape their notice that just like us they feel pain and have emotions but what really gets me is WHY they have pets in the first place if they're not gonna bother their arses providing the basic needs for them like food water and exercise. The animal techs dont get paid enough for the work they do. Fair play to all of em. They have my appreciation.

I've always wanted to be some sort of animal worker, but watching any of these Animal Cops shows really inspires me to do it.
I just can't believe some of these cases though, like they say on the show - you think you've seen it all and then something worse happens.. I don't think I'll ever fully understand how people can do this stuff to animals.
