I really don't understand why San Andreas gets all the praise. Vice City has the best story and music, GTA IV has the best characters and physics. The best thing about San Andreas is multiplayer, which isn't even made by Rockstar. Still haven't found a game that is so fun as Vice City when it came out

@jovcha91 SA is simply fucking awesome. It was amazing when it first came out. Many new things added with an epic map. Now, after 6 years of its release I STILL PLAY IT. Also for SAMP made a quite modifications so it looks like vice city, has that vice fell. And SP stays the way it is, so basicly.. its a WIN WIN/DOUBLE WIN. I just wish they'd make SA Stories like vcs and lcs only a bit less powerful enigne then gta 4's so it dosent require a goddamn gaming pc.

@jovcha91 Ikr? I loved the graphics but whats gay is that I have to spend like 1k on new software to run it. They could have remade SA in some vcs style with lets say max payne 2 ragdool psychics and some gta 4 vehicle damage. Add particles so it looks better, use something like SRT 3 mod for sa, add more peds/weapons and some epic 80s music mixed with 90s. They couldhave made a great classic GTA game + if they would work with SAMP group that would sick. 0.3d samp is already fucking amazing...

GTA vice city and san andreas really actually taught me what the world was really like when i was a kid. Many kids think the world is safe and peaceful. But, GTA showed me the real world, it's realities, the crime and corruption of it. You may think i am sentimental but at least i was ready for the harsh realities when i grew up. It was also the best fun i'll ever have.

PS: GTA also introduced me to some of the best music ever. I could never ever,ever listen to this beiber and gaga crapshit.

They SO did all the colors just right from the 1980's in this game. LOL Hot pink, light pink, and pastel blue (and even purple) were like the main colors. I look at them now and they kind of make me laugh.... lol

GTA III: The revolution to 3D and the ascension of the series

Vice City: Best Soundtrack, best world (in my opinion) and atmopshere

San Andreas: More to do than any other GTA game, deeper gameplay and char customisation and the biggest and most varied world.

GTA IV: Technically amazing. i.e the physics engine is hilariously fun, and it still looks pretty good, though liberty city was too bleak for me compared to VC's beaches and palm trees.

GTAIV is only worth it for the mods, GTA3 has a certain charm to it(MY MOTHERS MY SISTER) Vice City has an atmosphere and is probably the best social commentary (since i bet many of the devs grew up in the 80s) San Andreas is overall the best. GTAV looks to be taking lessons from san andreas, which is great!
