OMG i love bebe i ahve those rings lmao i wish i had a biggg house with any many birds as your i just have to untamed parakeetXD i want bigg birds :)))))) jealous!!!
lol my lovie does the same thing. Hey do you try to always take your birds out when they beg like that? When my lovie wants out I sometimes don't have the energy to play with her so I don't let her out, but then I feel bad.
That only happens with birds who's owners do not allow them to be accustom to the glass. Our birds have practice flight even before they were weaned and have NEVER hit the window. An owner must teach the bird. I could go on and on, but let me just say if a bird hits a window, it is the owner's responsibility for not teaching the baby where they are,
I am living a dilemma here. My lovebirds are making too much dirt at the room where the cage is, and I let them free, I don`t lock the cage. I really don`t like to lock birds in cages, I get feeling myself as diretor of a prison or a jailor. But it`s too dirt. Now the males are starting to perambulate for all parts of the house when I am out of home, so, it`s dirt until in my bed sometimes. It`s a big touble. ( this it`s just a outflow ) Maybe I will have to give the birds to anyone with space.
Yes, that is right. We must not permit the dirt accumulate, cleaning every day. The made we had contracted, who came at our house once week left us because it was too dirt for her to cleaning. :o). Now I am putting branches of trees with leaves over the cages for the lovebirds. They really love that, they spent a lot of time in the branches - cutting and taking the leaves and small branches to the nest So, they are having less need to walk around the house looking for stuff for the nest.
Our budgie has recently taken a liking to ringing some bells (I try to have him "accompany" me when I play the piano...), and I know he would LOVE BeBe's instrument! (I think I have the necessary materials to concoct a similar one...) As a matter of fact, all of BeBe's (great) toys would probably be a hit with Babi.
MIne will grab two cage bars with his beak, compress them and release...for a string instrument effect....its his way of telling mom and dad "I want out!"
A genuine jailbird!

I was wondering. Is it safe to let your bird fly around your house????
12picko12 2 years ago
Yes, our 10 love it.
stargazrt4 2 years ago
The danger in flying around the house is the windows with transparent glass. They don`t
realize the glass and can hurt themselves flying straight , with the head in the glass.

pf's do better, but you can with fischer's also. You need to have an aviary at least 8 feet or longer.
