I LOVED that Meredith made this gesture. It's often just words and speeches between those two. This gesture is bigger then any of those speeches (even though they are some of my favourite speeches of all time!) And good on Derek for doing the right thing, it shows that they were thinking ahead and not just living in now (aka season 2 finale and all the mess it caused with Addison). Yay for MerDer!
