  • i am obsessed wif Nina!!!

  • When you walked backward I was confused at first, but then I felt like the train was moving forward. That's a clever trick! :D

  • so cute n clever girl!!!

  • you have a lovely daughter.. :)

  • Blessings... :) thank you for sharing

  • why did she need a coin for the train thing at the end?

  • @CandieeProductions She was just pretending to take money for the train.

  • You have such a charming daughter!

  • i loved the way she said wallaby! WALABEE

  • I went to Kuragaike-park for many times when I was kid...I commented your movie Nina-chan for few times.I didn't know Nina-chan went to so many places in Aichi or around Tokai...Are your family lives in Aichi?????I never been to Mori-Koro park...Nina-chan movie made I feel I want to go there and play with water~!Kuragaike-park givin me many memories...hehe:)

  • @naillove Yes, we are in Aichi. Mori-Koro park is where the banpaku (Aichi Expo) was a few years ago.

We still often go to Kuragaike because Nina loves to hold the guinnea pigs (モルモット)there.

  • @geofg Ohhhhh,really?Me too.But I'm in Toyohashi.I never been to ex-Banpaku park...I want to go there when I have a chance...She loves guinnea pigs?Wow,so cute^-^

  • I love how excited she got petting the guinea pig! And the little kiddie mazes are so cool. I love the train that nina gets to drive!

  • Haha, "ah you can't pick the flowers here - -" *too late* ..*silence*.. hahaha ^^.

  • @TayuyaKyuu he he (Oops)

  • Does Nina have any pets? Or does the condo not allow any at all?

  • We have fish. No cats or dogs in the condo, but we may get a bird for Nina.

  • Nina is so beautiful and full of life <3

  • She is so kind and gentle.

  • I love the bit where she's confident about petting the horse until she get s clote and then she's all "koiwi" aaaaw

  • Yeah, she's still that way about dogs, too. Whenever she sees one out on the street she always wants to pet it, but when we get close, she loses her nerve.

  • this is one of my favorite video of my little nina.. whew!!! nina's is so adorableeeeeeeee:*

  • I hadn't looked at this in a long time. She is so young! Thanks for reminding me of this one.

  • You have an absolutely amazing and adorable child. I love watching your videos!

  • Thanks!

  • So cute how she had to touch every flower. This place looks fun how far is it from Fukuoka? BTW did you ever make it to Apita?...haha

  • It's in Toyota City in Aichi Prefecture. Toyota pays for it so it's all free. I can't remember if we made it to Apita that day, but we get there often enough. Ha ha. Do you have Apita in Fukuoka?

  • oh now i know. I did see it but it was when i first found this channel and didnt know as much japanese. Wow i understood everything she said this time around and it was a completely different experience.

  • That's great that you can compare your Japanese ability to before by watching a video you haven't seen in awhile. It's hard to see progress when you look at it day by day, so it's good to have a chance to see how far you've come. That will give you motivation to stick with it more.

  • wow i dont think i saw this video! i thought i did but i guess i didnt! Wow how cute! Nina usagi ga dai suki! and she does a dance :D that just made my day ^_^

  • Oooh wow when she sayin ita ita taichiru... so cute n so adorable..Oh Nina my youtubes' little angel..Aishiteruuuu.

  • Thanks, Vamphil!

  • she's so cute and smart! at that age and she can speak japanese very well! she's really the most adorable child! ^ ^

  • Thanks for all your nice comments! Japanese is Nina's first language, so she is learning it quickly. Her English is coming along more slowly.

  • very cute, her japanese is so good. I'm studying right now as well. 20 years old.

  • Thanks! Japanese is her first language, of course. Good luck with your nihongo no benkyou!

  • ^how old is nina right now?

  • She'll be three in about two weeks!

  • Isn't that the 'Common Hamster'? It's known to be the most aggressive in the hamsters' family.

  • I call them guinnea pigs. In Japan they say marmot. What I call a hamster is much smaller.

  • Wow youve been in Japan for 10 years? How did u end up there? I lived there for 1 year as an exchange student and eventually wanna go back to teach.

  • Aww how she drinks out of the water fountain~~

  • That was the strangest way I've seen someone drink from a water fountain haha

One question, is she on diapers still?

  • Yeah, diapers. Even though she can talk and discuss things, the diaper thing is a big mental hurdle somehow.

  • Love the train. That was so cool, and Nina is so cute. You should post more videos, maybe some learning basic Japanese like she knows.

"Doko ni imasu ka?" "Where are we going" "Apita" That was so cute!!!

  • Thanks for all your comments.

I started to make movies of Nina using Japanese, and then I just started making random ones. But, several people have said they can learn Japanese from listening to Nina, so maybe I'll try to put up more of her using Japanese.

  • yea man. her japanese is sooooo awesome!!

please post vids of you and her speaking =)

  • Hey, thanks! A lot of the newer vids on my page have her talking, like Nina and Papa Eat Bento

  • Thank you for sharing the joy and light that this wonderful little girl gives to you! My son is the same way and I am trying to teach him Japanese. He is facinated by Nina! lol Thank you for the videos!!!

  • How old is your son? What do you plan to do in Japan? Good luck teaching him Japanese. I'm having a tough time getting Nina to use Ejnglish while living in Japan.

  • He is 2yrs on Jan, 21st. I am hoping to. I want to find a nanny job or wait 3 more years and just start teaching

  • OMG I found Nina from the bento song too xD ahahahahahaha the video with the chichai hebi & tentomushi (however you spell em xD)

AHAHAHHA I can't believe she picked the flower! LOL oommggg that train is sooo cool!! It reminds me of one in Kingom Hearts II lols and that department store bit cracked me up lol

  • Yeah, the train was definitely the best part of the park for Nina. And, it's rare to find anything that empty in Japan.LOL

    What's Kingdom Hearts?

  • An awesome video game =] ^^ Hee.. the one made by the creators of Final Fantasy and Disney =O

    =]

  • I stumbled on to your videos looking up the bento song. What a beautiful daughter you have. She is a cutie. :)

  • she is beyond adorable!

  • u r best family , I love Nina :)

I so wonder if I have kid bcoz I am Thai girl ma bf is Aussie man..Ma Eng not so good and my bf can't speak Thai :( maybe that is a problem for kid right??

  • I think it can be OK. Because Nina knows I can speak Japanese, she does not use English when she speaks to me. Maybe if I couldn't speak Japanese, she would use more English. I think it is best if each parent uses only his or her native language with the child. Sometimes, I use too much Japanese with Nina. So, I think you might not have a problem. Just make sure your bf is a good man!

  • i tried posting a comment on another video, but it was too long =[

but i wanted to ask something else that popped up.

    Does your wife speak/understand english?

  • Nina loves Apita :)

    because sie loves Onigiri there....

  • great video, nina's so funny. i like her observation about how she's still too small to pat the horse by herself. not that that turned out too well... still, at least she didn't *totally* bad-mouth that horse

  • Yeah, she never says she "hates" something, though she might hate something a little ("chotto kirai").

  • Ahhhh At 4:18 I was laughing pretty hard. Shes hilarious. Oh, and when she took that flower, your reactions~~ AHHH Children.

I love your videos. Always. They're so cute, and I love the music, you do a very good job of making parenting look like fun!!!!!!

Plus there just simply arent enough 'good' parents these days. And it's so reassuring to see a family be so happy together.

  • I was hoping the 4:18 frame would become the representative picture, but it didn't quite work out.

    I love your videos, too.

As for making parenting look fun, I get subsidies from the "happy family" foundation for making these vids. Most of the time our family is a screaming, hysteric mess.

    Thanks, though.

  • All my dreams are dead >;(

  • So cute, and it's great to see her grow, and her mind develop.

  • Thanks, Kelly. I hope you can meet her some day.

  • Mochi in red bouncing about... :)

Why do you think she's afraid of pony & loves rabbits?

Quite interesting to see her reaction to different animals. ^^

Make sure she comes back from Apita, btw!

Thanks for the great tour, Geof.

Happy holidays to you & your beautiful family. :D

  • The pony we met was pretty aggressive and tried to bite my hand a little, so I think Nina got scared. Also, horses are big! Nina likes little animals.

    Happy holidays to you, too!

  • She's so adorable and so smart.

  • Thank you!

  • so brave.

  • I can't wait until I have my own family!

  • Good luck with making your own family!

  • Oohh I like Nina, the train conductor cum driver! Totemo kawaii desu ne :)

  • Thanks! Of all the things at the park, Nina loved the train the most.

  • aww she was so cute with the guinea pig :)

  • Somehow she knew she had to be gentle with it. In Japan, they call them marmots.

  • oh that's neat that they call them marmots! thanks for the info!

  • adorable

  • 2nd that Adorable
