Your my inspiration Dan, I'm back into cars after 30 years and am restoring a 57 Chevy 4 Dr Sedan. Hard to find any 2 door cars unrestored these days. It has a 283 powerpack engine with 53,000 original miles. I'm installing a muncie 4 speed with 2:56 1st gear from a 64 chevelle. Mine will need a lot of body work. Love your videos keep em coming
that's totally awesome dan. when i was born i was brought home in a '55 chevy back in 1980. i still have the car to this day. it's running the original straight 6 right now. might leave it, might change it to a v8. i don't know.

@grandprismatic ...EXACTLY!!!, and with no tags or inspection sticker, and mainly a spongy brake pedal, I did not want to drive it to a preferred strip.
