  • there is no real original prophecy in Quran ask a muslim to produce 1 or 3 prophecies

  • Subahan'Allah. Jazak'Allah for this video brother.

  • Another sign of how great Allah is that he said that in judgement day we will be punished for what we did to another human biengs like killing stealing and stuff before we get punished for the mistakes we made towards Allah like not praying or not belieng on him or not paying Zakah .. i Love Allah :) and good luck man xx

  • HAHAHAHA!!! What a bunch of human bullshit.

  • @bnn32156548 jst let me know who made your body in the inside of your mother's womb. why are you here in this world and what would happen after your death? who creates honey inside of a honey bee? I know who made my car, my cloths, my shoes, my glasses but I don't know who made me? doesn't it bother you. who is gonna punish the cruel who dies without getting punishment? is the punishment that we can give is enough for the cruel (killer, raper, stealer etc.)?

  • @kashamk4 You make me feel soooo good about myself.......

  • masha-Allah

  • Muslims worship the orphan Muhammad, a lowly street rat and his ego Allah.

  • I dont think that Allah is a muslim. Because it dosent seem that you muslims have had much help the last 500 years, if you look at who developed the latest centuries art, technology and litterature.

I think Allah became a christian 500 years ago. That is the only explanation for why you muslims lost the control of being at the forefront of civilization exactly 500 years ago.

  • And if your god is supposed to be so brilliant and kind, then why can we find greater compassion in 'puny humans' and treat women as they deserve to be treated (as equals)? I find it unlikely that the creator of the universe would have less respect for women, and less scientific knowledge, than I do.

  • I suppose that you could say this is sort of arguing why supernatural pantheism is not a part of your religion. And secondly, do you really think the divine creator of the universe would give a flying fuck what type of meat you eat? Or what type of clothes you wear? He would have trillions upon trillions of stars and planets and you think that would bother him?

  • Now I am going to narrow it even more. A philosophical argument against the Islamic god, 'Allah', especially. If your god shaped the world, etc etc, and through miracles and 'divine intervention' he shapes the world, why is his finest creations unworthy of worship. If your god created something that no being could ever create, it is surely a brilliant reflection of his 'glory' and is worthy of appreciation alongside him.

  • Epicurus, in the Ancient Greek Age of Illumination proved that omnipotence and omnibenevolence are absolutely incompatible. These are only a couple of MANY MANY arguments I have against the existence of gods, and the Abrahamic god specifically.

  • God is fictional, simple.

Something is false until proven true. This is a philosophical standpoint that is known by all rationalists, the dominant class of philosopher, to be absolutely sound.

  • terrorist...get out of my country go back where you came from (the middle east)!

  • God in the old testament required animal sacrifice.Jesus came as the sinless lamb to die for the world

  • And that's where we disagree....you put limits on God, I dont..

  • ojk question when did the notion come about that Jesus rose from the dead

  • so is it impossible for God to become man and die it want every one to see your answer please...

  • its a nonsencial question, God by definition is divine, He is Always Living and does not die,He gives life and death. humans are by definition limited. Your question doesnt make sense. It's like asking, can God create a rock so big that even he can't lift it? or like asking, can God make a square with 5 sides? These are irrational questions...

  • why do you put limits on God, He forgives whom He wants, He doesnt need a sacrifice to forgive people. No soul bears the burden of another. Original sin is a joke, how can u say an innocent baby is responsible for anothers mistake....

  • so nothing hard for God so could he not offer his life for our sins also

  • God doesn't die...

  • so the man who died on the cross the disciples dressed his body and knew how Jesus looked so would they not have said something

  • it was from God, God could have this 'illusion' look exactly like Jesus, nothing is hard for God...

  • ok Muslims believe Jesus did not die on the cross who did the disciples take off the cross

  • they were made to believe Jesus died, but God saved Jesus. I don't know who the disciples took off the cross, but it wasn't Jesus...

  • i still don't believe god died...

  • it was Hebrew how can we be sure of that look at Mathew 1:21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins.

now the angel gave Jesus the name of salvation only in the Hebrew language dose Jesus name mean salvation also Mary was Hebrew women

    Yeashuah means YHWH is salvation

it also means The provider of Salvation

so the angel was saying he will provide salvation to the world

  • Salvation can also mean following Jesus, not necessarily worshipping him. Following Moses for the children of Israel was their salvation. Following Jesus was the salvation for his people. Now, following Muhammad is our salvation...note the difference b/w following and worshipping

  • now i have have a question do you believe at the time of Jesus the Torah was corrupt

  • Jesus did not speak Aramaic.the bible is very clear of that

  • what was the language of jesus then? it certainly wasnt greek. it could have been hebrew, but that would still prove my point. arabic, aramic and hebrew are all sister religions...

  • Sick.

  • did allah make the bible?

  • The Gospel of Jesus is true. However, what exists today as the bible has been changed many times over as evident by the numerous different versions of it...

  • but what i am saying is that allah aka god is not bound by any book or scripture.. found on this or any other planet.. he is an all powerful, mutli dimentional being. he has free will.. to say that he is bound to any one book is a discredit to him. he understands the differences in the books and scriptures. and provide him/her with different flavors. yes i said her.. all powerful being can shapeshift and look however they want at any given time.

  • God, thru His Mercy and Fairness has sent guidance to mankind and in this era, His Guidance is found in the Quran.

With that being said, I only use the word He b/c of the functionality of the English Language. God doesn't have a gender, there is nothing like Him. We cannot picture what God looks like. God does what He wills without a doubt. We only know God by how He has described Himself in His Revelation (for example, we know He is All-Merciful, All-Knowing, etc).

  • Interesting but unconvincing to my mind.

Here's another video with a similar title that, whilst not perfect, does seem to cover the subject in more detail and with clearer statements and findings throughout.

Who is Allah? Part 4 [YouTube watch?v=tkrgObVwTSc ] by AhmadsQuran3

    Peace.

  • amazing presentation!

    jazak allah kher =)

  • The Aramaic and Syriac words for 'god' (ʾĕlāh & ʾalāh) correspond to the Arabic word ʾilāh while the Aramaic and Syriac words for 'God' (ʾĕlāhâ & ʾalāhā) correspond to the Arabic word al-ʾilāh, which some Muslims believe that Allāh is a contraction of. When it comes to the Creator having a son, Christians don't mean that in a physical sense. The Son is the second person in the one being that is God. As for God resting on the 7th day, that's not literal.

  • However, do you consider Jesus to be God or human then? It's a contradiction to claim both b/c humans by nature have limits. After all, you would agree Jesus needed food for nourishment, sleep for rest, and he would use the bathroom to relieve himself, right? Do you think it is possible (not asking if you believe it), that Jesus was a Messenger of God instead of a mangod?

  • I consider Jesus to be a human. Just to make things clear to you, I'm a monotheist who has no religious affiliation. I certainly do not accept Christianity as the true religion. Jesus could be a Messenger of the Creator in the sense that he spread the recognition of the Creator.

  • As you know this is the belief in Islam that Jesus was a human being that spread the message of truth amongst Creation. He was a Messenger of God.

I salute you for being truly monotheistic in today's society, which is indeed rare, but if you believe in God and if you believe Him to be Just and Fair, dont you think He would send guidance to mankind and hence, one of the religions on Earth must be the truth and protected?

  • If there is a true religion out there, then how can I deny it? I just don't feel convinced that Islam is that religion. I like to keep thinking and asking questions. Even if I were to have sufficient evidence to show that Islam is not the true religion, it wouldn't mean that Islam doesn't have any value or truth in it. I'd like to do some videos analyzing the Qurʾān. Right now, I find the basic ideas of the Noahide Laws to be appealing to me.

  • What is the number one thing that turns you off from Islam?

  • I don't know if that's really the right kind of question to ask. However, the thing with me is that in this part of my life, I feel a sense of not wanting to be part of any particular religion. I have a more "loose" perspective and try to find and value the truth of each of the different religions. For me to stick with a particular religion is in a way to sort of stop asking the tough questions.

  • There's no contradiction because we as humans share a similar nature. Are you only flesh? No, your flesh will perish and return to the earth, but where will your soul go?The spirit part.We are flesh with an indwelling spirit. Why do we limit God in his ability to show his love for us by using this same paradox.Joseph was not Jesus' earthly father the Spirit of God was.Luke 1:27-37.The Bible does not need the Qu'ran but the Qur'an needs the Bible. As Muhammad said the oldest revelation is the best.

  • You mentioned that Allāh is the Aramaic word for 'God'. That's incorrect. The Aramaic word for 'God' is ʾĕlāhâ, which is the emphatic form of ʾĕlāh (god). In Syriac (using Eastern pronunciation), it would be ʾalāhā (God), which is the emphatic form of ʾalāh (god). Despite these words sounding similar to Allāh, they are not cognates to Allāh. The reason for that is because Allāh is a proper noun while those other words are common nouns.

  • Hey there coolguymuslim. First off, thanks for adding me as your friend. Second, I want to address the contents of your video. Allāh is used by Muslims as a proper noun (personal name of the Creator) while Arabized Jews and Christians only use Allāh as a common noun (title/generic name), because they adopted that name and turned it into a title for their usage. They don't use it as the Creator's personal name, which they believe to be YHWH. I was hoping you could address that.

  • Hi SubZero7th,

You're right, in Islam, Allah is one of the names of God, All-Mighty and we do use it specifically towards god as a Proper Noun. However, this does not limit God to not have other names for He uses many, many names of His in the Quran and He has numerous names and attributes of His that He has kept hidden from us in the knowledge of the unseen.

  • Yeah, I know. The Jews have many names for God as well, but like Muslims, there is only one name that they believe to be God's personal name. In the Tanakh, God explicitly identifies Himself as YHWH (Exodus 6:2-3, Isaiah 42:8), and that there is no other deity excepth Him. So Jews and Muslims have two different proper names for God yet Muslims believe to worship the same deity that Jews (and Christians) do.

  • Hey SubZero7th,

Sorry for the ridiculously late response, I apologize for that. I just wanted to address one thing you pointed out about how Muslims may pray to a God different than the Jews/Christians. To an extent this is true, but this has nothing to do in terms of the name of God being Allah versus YHWH. God can have many different names and hence, He may be referred to Allah by Muslims, yet Prophet Noah may have referred to Him differently.

    (cont)

  • Hey there. It's alright. I have been busy with my job these days, so I haven't had too much time for online stuff. In both the Bible and the Qurʾān, the Creator has many different names, but most of those names are common, generic names. They are titles, in other words. However, the Bible has one personal name for the Creator while the Qurʾān has a different personal name. If this is the same deity, wouldn't He be consistent and stick with one personal name?

  • Why can't God have proper multiple names? For example, the Prophet Muhammad was also known as Ahmed or Abul-Qasim. Why then, can't God have multiple names, especially in different languages. After all, Jesus in Arabic is Eesa and Moses is Musa, etc, but we are referring to the same person, right?

  • I'm not saying that the Creator can't have multiple proper names. I'm just wondering WHY He would. Like I said before, both the Bible and the Qurʾān attribute only one personal name to the Creator while attributing many impersonal names (titles) to describe that said deity's attributes. If Allāh is the Creator's name, then in other languages, the name would be rendered, not translated. That's why Allāh in languages like English and French is Allāh, not "God" or "Dieu".

  • You mentioned Muḥammad, Jesus, and Moses having many names. The thing is, Mūśā is the Arabic transliteration (in other words, the Arabic rendering of) his original name, which is Mōšeʰ. About Jesus in Arabic being ʿĪśā, I have to disagree with that and side with the Arab Christians, who call Jesus by the name Yaśūʿ (or Yaśūʿa). But then again, this could just be the case of Muslims giving their own special name for Jesus as opposed to trying to render his original name.

  • When it comes to the Creator and having different people call him by different names, I don't really care too much. To me, "God" is universal, so to speak. However, my argument lies within the Abrahamic religions and Muslims claiming that they worship the same deity that the Jews and Christians do when the linguistics and the texts say otherwise. If you have one set of scripture saying that the Creator's name is YHWH while the other says that His name is Allāh, isn't that a contradiction?

  • Allah is what we call god due to the Arabic language. However, note that Muslims have 99 names for god, and hence its not a contradiction.

  • Allāh is a proper noun. It is the personal name of the deity that Muslims worship. The 99 names of the Asmāʾ-ul-Ḥusnā are impersonal names. In other words, they are titles, describing the various attributes given to Allāh. Like I asked before, if you have one set of scriptures saying that the Creator's (personal) name is YHWH while the other says that it is Allāh, isn't that a contradiction? You don't seem to think so, but you haven't convinced me.

  • (cont)

After all, multiple names of God are mentioned in the Quran itself. God is referred to as Ar-Rahman as well. There are tens of names and attributes mentioned in the Quran and Hadith that refer to Allah. On top of that, there are numerous names of God that have been kept hidden in the knowledge of the unseen. Muslims do worship the same God that Moses and Abraham worshipped regardless of how Moses referred to God as.

    (cont)

  • Names like Ar-Raḥman are examples of common, generic names (titles) attributes given to the Creator in the Qurʾān. That name can be taken and applied to another deity. However, when it comes to Allāh, it is a personal name and refers only to a specific deity. The same is true with YHWH. Maybe Muslims worship the same deity that the Jews and Christians do in terms of intent (i.e. worshiping the Deity of Abraham).

  • Well for example, if someone lived isolated from society and he had not heard of Islam or other religions and he still believed in God, he would call out and pray to this God without ever referring to Him as Allah or YHWH or anything else. He may have his own name for God or something similar, however, he would still be considered someone who believed in true monotheism as he would claim to worship the Lord of the Worlds.

  • So in other words, you basically believe that the intent is what's important as opposed to what he/she calls his/her deity. Am I right in saying this? But what if this person calls upon the name of a pagan deity such as Baʿal?

  • (cont)

In terms of today's Jews and Christians, Muslims may very well worship a different God since I believe Jews are somewhat anthropormorphic with their God and the Christians have attributed many heretical beliefs to Him.

  • But what if I were to believe in and worship only one deity, refer to Him as Kəmôš (Chemosh), and claim that I'm worshiping the Deity of Abraham? Does that make Kəmôš the same deity as Allāh and YHWH? That's what I'd like to know.

From what I understand, Jewish monotheism is VERY similar to Islamic monotheism. For example, they don't believe that the Creator has a body nor does He exist inside the creation.

  • I dont know what Chemosh means so I really can't comment on that. However, if you worship the Lord of Abraham, the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth, then this is very important and you have a good understanding of true Islamic monotheism (tawheed) which unfortunately has been lost amongst today's Christians.

  • Chemosh is the name of the Moabite deity. So in other words, it's a pagan deity. According to the Tanakh, some of Solomon's wives and concubines led him astray by leading him to worship pagan deities such as Chemosh, Molech, etc. According to Blue Letter Bible, Kəmôš means something along the lines of "subduer". If I claim that Kəmôš is the Deity of Abraham, does that make him the same deity as Allāh despite it being the name of a pagan deity?

  • "God is more loving to his creation than a mother is loving towards her son"

Funny. When I told my mother I liked boys, she didn't demand I be put to death.

I don't mean to belittle your beliefs, but I would like to know how you justify the verses of the Quran which condone or even demand such behaviour.

  • Hey there,

The narration in question is that there was a women nursing her child and the Prophet Muhammad said, "Do you think that this woman would throw her child in the fire?" The companions of the Prophet said, "No, By Allah she would not, if she is able not to." He then said, "Allah the Exalted is more merciful with His slave than this woman with her child" (narrated in Bukhari).

With that being said, if we are truly slave of God, we should follow His Commandments

    (cont)

  • (cont)

More important than being gay or straight or anything else is the primary belief in the Oneness of God and the belief that God, being All-Just and Fair sent guidance to mankind in the form of Prophets, amongst whom were Jesus and Muhammad.

If you think Islam is a violent religion, I would encourage you to watch my video, "Islam & Terrorism"

  • I must admit, I've not had the opportunity to read the Quran for myself. I've read excerpts.

I wish all Muslims read the Quran as you do. The unfortunate fact of the matter is that many Muslims use the Quran to justify extreme violence.

If modern Islam were as you see it, I wouldn't have a problem with it. It may not be fundamentally a religion of violence, but as it is practised today by millions, in Islamic nations, it's a very violent religion.

I wish you all the best.

  • The thing is some people are defending themselves and are forced to fight or else they will be taken advantage of so it very well may be self-defense. I'm not Arab nor do I live in the 'questionable' areas so I can't tell you exactly what's going on there so I wont further comment on the issue.

    (cont)

  • (cont)

With that being said, you have to differentiate b/w Islam and Muslims and remember not all Muslims represent the true Islam. I mean the KKK is a christian organization, but do I think this violence truly represents christianity? Absolutely not, understand my analogy here?

I would encourage you to read the Quran, if not for any purpose but to better educate yourself on what a quarter of the world's people believe.

I wish you all the best as well.

    Peace

  • I think we're pretty well agreeing by this point. My University has a few copies of the Quran, I believe. I start back next week, so hopefully I'll get an opportunity to read it soon.

Thank you for offering your perspective.

  • You are stupid. Arabic does exactly the same thing as English, they name their god "God".

You are also an Arabic supremacist. There are Muslims all over the world who speak all different languages and read the Quran in all different languages. Get over it. There is nothing special about Arabic.

I'm not even going to mention your religious comments, since something tells me you don't accept anything other than blind obedience.

  • You're absolutely right, most Muslims are not arabs. In fact, I think less than 20% of Muslims are arabs. I don't know how you can call me an arabic supremacist, especially considering the fact that I am not an arab! However, it is important to note that the language of the Quran is arabic and the translated versions in other languages are just that, they are translations of the meaning. This is done to keep the Quran in tact and unchanged over time amongst other things.

  • yes

  • i like this. i am a atheist but this video helped me understand alot more. Christianity does have its flaws , i do like this better. But , i still am athiest but nice video and very descriptive

  • Nice chairs.

  • What word in arabic is used in case of gods of other religions?

  • The word 'ilah' is the general word for a god and is used in the case of gods of other religions.

  • Mashallah alek!! Mwah

  • Muhammed says to the world:

"Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Quran 3:31)

  • my friend i do not believe in the quran

  • and i do not trust in bible ;)

    it has been corrupited

  • how

  • To bad you will never have a personal relationship with the god of Islam. Christianity provides the relationship through Jesus Christ, it's unlike anything in this world. Islam imposes its religion and so does every other world leader and religion, but Christ has won the heart of man.

  • AMEN StandUpForISRAEL!

Islamists seek converts at the point of a sword. Jesus wins hearts and souls through his love.

WAKE up followers of radical Islam. Those who live by the sword shall DIE by the sword (or bomb)

    Jesus is Lord forever!!!

  • Great Video, You're a great Speaker!!!

    "Allah Bless you"...

  • Jazak'Allah khair.

  • Good stuff, Sheikh Bilal

    Mashallah
