I'm so gutted there wasn't another episode of this. I suppose We Are Klang could be classed as modern alternative comedy, which is in the same vein as Shooting Stars. It's really bizarre and if you don't have that mind set, you WON'T find it funny. However it is hilarious to someone who has that alternative strange humour. I'm so bored of constant stand up dominating TV now. They all follow the same pattern. Some are great obviously but we need some fresh stuff!

@papasmall In some ways I agree but tv is only just starting to get good again, and only just starting to make fiction again so what you're effectively doing is discouraging the BBC from making any comedy or fiction because you're not willing to let the show mature and become great thus asking the impossible from the BBC 'an original funny captivating series that is perfect from the word go'
@farshnuke I really dont think that TV is getting better, we have more hours of repeats than ever before, more dumbed down TV (on BBC) than ever, and the BBC certainly isnt going to get discouraged from making anything because of my opinion. Why should we give the show a chance to get better, and how long do you give someone a chance to get better 5 episodes 50, 200.If you get served crap food in a restaurant do you smile nicely then pay full price and say, "we should give them a chance" no!
@papasmall You're right! There's been a lot of shit tele recently but now there's Doctor Who, Sherlock, Being Human, Vexed, Grandma's House and Mongrels, the vast majority of tele is still non fiction and repeats, a fact not helped by format selling, but what little there is we should cherish and encourage and I already know how long you should give a show a chance, the answer is 2.5 series. Check my deductions but I'm right.
@farshnuke Being Human, Grandma's House and Mongrels restored my faith in TV recently! I thought we were all doomed to pants TV forever. Love We Are Klang, but I know it's not everyones cup of tea. I just hoped it'd appeal to enough folk to warrant at least one series of The Klang Show. Oh well. They'd better do the Fringe soon.
@farshnuke True but this is just as crap as We are Klang. I fail to see the humour in shoving food down somebody's pants or sucking on a cucumber so that it looks like you're giving it a blowjob.
@JediSlayer22 I can't see the humour in lots of things but I know damn well that the vast majority of my generation disagree. Juvenile humour is something that can either disgust you or make you chuckle. I tend to take juvenile humour on a case by case basis but will generally laugh at it so long as no one's actually getting hurt, I suppose that's how people watch torture films.
@Martiandust I'll confess that I was drawn to BBC 4 when this was shown and thus missed it but I loved the klang's work, right from their parts in 'The Wall', shame that never took off, i thought it was rather good, sort of BBC does T4

it requires a very specific sense of humour and I have it, honestly alot of people aren't fond of this show but you have to have that sense of humour

Rik Mayall should go back to hitting Ade Edmondson over the head with a frying pan instead of making this crap!

@JediSlayer22 I can't think of many pilots that aren't crap, that's the thing with Pilots, they're learning experiences
