Is it safe to use your brakes so progressively in the reflex profile?

Its has always been fine with the old re-action, it doesn't have loads of reflex like some of the modern wings, I play on the Fusion in reflex but not on full fast, it distorts the wing too much. This is an old vid. Also I should point out the wide angle camera can make it look like im pulling more brake, compare brake length to the risers.

i fly the Fusion as well, i havent been brave enough yet to play on it with anything past neutral...

Full fast is for A to B flying, I generally mess about on the take off trim if I am banking about and flying low around the trees. Full slow gives flatter turns and take off to neutral give nice carves through the air, with some dive to it which is fun. I generally stop using the brakes and switch to tips or weight shift once I am past about number 4 or 5 on the green trim.
