Berserk anime however... Changes the main plot COMPLETELY. Just like Rurouni Kenshin per example does im afraid -.-

It is too bad I don't read manga as much as I should because they are known to be a lot better than the anime. For Example, Rosario+Vampire is total shit compared to the manga. They changed a lot of shit for the worst. But I also watch One Piece. I heard that the anime is very faithful to the manga. Even though it has over 430, there were no really long filler arcs.

But after like chapter 100 they started to go into real fastasy, like now he has a mage with him and his other comrades have magic weapons and he has a berseker armor and all that.
